Been coming here for years… always get a great welcome, excellent service, and overall wonderful experience. They always manage to get it just right… I even trusted them to cut my hair for my son’s wedding. The only drawback is that once you get used to someone, they graduate and unless they take the advanced course, they move on.
I’ll always come back. They can do any hair.

This was my first time here… I loved it !! Mackenzie is brilliant! Amazing products! Mackenzie knew exactly which products would work best with my hair and what methods that would work best! Love this place!

There is some awesome new stylist talent developing here! My stylist’s name was Chelsey and she was super attentive and friendly. All the stations have ipads and she was able to pull up pictures of a style I wanted to go for. She brought over her instructor to go over the assessment… which was something new for me. Remember, these are students learning.
I was offered a cup of tea while my stylist worked on my hair. A brand of tea that the salon sells under their label. While the stylist worked on my hair, she eduxated me on all the products she was using… from detangler to root lifter to volumizer, gel, hairspray…
She did need some help from her instructor to do my waterfall braids, but I didnt mind… that’s the learning process. She also did a make-​up touch up that they do complimentary after each style which was an unexpected touch!
But my favourite part? My favourite part was watching all the newbie stylists methodically practice pulling hair through their fingers on floating dummy heads set up throughout the salon. Priceless!

I am so impressed with this salon! I had a drastic haircut (shoulder length to pixie) with highlights and they did an amazing job! The cost was also very reasonable, I recommend Aveda Institute to anyone and will keep returning!
