People once touted this place as being a go-to on Cordyon, definitely not in that class anymore. The décor on the inside is tacky and tries to be more opulent that it is. The pizza is the same as the 222‑2222 delivery pizza and not really of the highest quality. Their menu has expanded in recent years but when it is served, it just looks like it was bought pre-made and all they did was heat it up in a pizza oven. All in all, not a great place to go. Avoid if possible

Café 22 has changed its menu sometime this spring. They decreased the size of the pizzas(to 10 inch), increased price, and didn’t change the pizza quality. At this point I don’t really think the price is worth what you get. You’d be better off ordering the pizza as delivery. There are some intriguing new dishes: the fig, caramelized onion and Gorgonzola was especially tasty sounding, but it isn’t the same home-town pizza café it once was

How has no one written a review of Café 22 yet?! This is my favourite place to go on Corydon. It has a cute little patio(although they could use more comfortable chairs) and the best/HUGE booths inside. It’s the best to go in the evening when the tree that canopies the roof has it’s lights on and they twinkle around you. The food is great. They actually just redid the menu and I was really pleased. This is where the pizza comes from if you order from Pizza Hotline. You can order by the slice or try another one of their delicious Italian items. The wine list is also fairly extensive as well. You can tell that they are trying to compete with Pizzeria Gusto — which is another favourite of mine. If Pizzeria Gusto could keep the hours that Café 22 does and has their ambiance it would be unstopable.
