My husband and I came here for our wedding anniversary awhile ago. First time and last time. The meat was good but portions were small. Out dessert included odd items to dip. Entire meal was very overpriced. $ 100 for 2. My husband was still hungry when we left.

I was very pleased with The Melting Pot. The atmosphere was wonderful and the food was great! Be sure to try out the Swiss onion soup, it was amazingly delicious! I would definitely go back again and again. 5 stars.

I was just at the Melting Pot and was hesitant to get excited about the evening as the reviews were so very mixed, from loving it to terrible. Most restaurants don’t have such a large discourse from great to bad with few in between. That always makes me wonder about corruption of reviews. It wasn’t my idea to go there, but we ended up there. And what a surprise… it was awesome, from the exceptional and amazingly efficient waitress to the great and fulfilling food, to the owner talking to us about his family’s many years owning the restaurant and pointing to his wife working hard in the kitchen. The food was a lot of fun. We all enjoyed sharing the dishes at Dine out Winnipeg’s concept/pricing at The Melting Pot. The ambiance was great. The restaurant was full, but it was intimate and I couldn’t hear anyone else but those in our group. I highly recommend it for a fondue experience.(And I think someone is fudging the negative reviews.)
