Sage Garden Herbs

As I clip the last pieces of peppermint and sage from my outdoor garden today, I’m feeling the need to take a trip to Sage Garden Herbs for some indoor herbs and plants.
I love the selection of herbs, plants, grasses, and groovy gift items. SGH specializes in seeds and herbs, and the plants I’ve purchased have always been in the best condition I’ve seen from a nursery. Also, the service from Dave (owner) and the staff is knowledgeable, enthusiastic and friendly. In fact, a few years back I I tried to take my outdoor peppermint, lavender, and rosemary in for the winter. I don’t have south facing windows and so have very limited sunlight in the winter months. Dave gave me excellent advice (and support!) which helped me keep these cherished plants alive in time for replanting.
Also, the location couldn’t be prettier. Just when you think you’ve missed it, keep driving. It’s nestled to the left on St. Mary’s Road (if you’re driving south).

We have a outdoor garden during the summer and this year are trying an indoor one for herbs. This is one of the places we frequent over the last few years to get the plants we grow. They do not have it all but they have an good selection of items at OK prices. In addition to their workshops most of their staff provide a knowledgeable good service. Yes we will be back again to get more stuff next spring.
