The waiter was a bit fake French stuffy. Not likable at first. This Americans thought on many French-​Canadians. I don’t loathe them as much as my fellow countrymen but they are like Diesel engines in winter. Slow to warm. The food, like our waiter, was cliched but good. A bit too upscale for the flea market vibe of the building.

Had a pre-​wedding dinner last night at Sydney’s with just the bride and groom in tow. One of my best dining experiences ever. I travel coast to coast and would be hard pressed to remember a better meal. My hats off to Robert and Alex for a job well done. We’re coming back soon.

Great service and the 5 course meal was truly an experience. I had the lamb shanks braised for 5 – 6 hours (succulent), the starters and appetizers were equally well thought out by the chef and our large party all were very happy with food and service.
Wine was a tad expensive, but hey that’s restaurant mark up
Just remember that you are here for an experience. Don’t be in a rush and expect to just order whatever you want off the menu. You will be selecting a starter, and appetizer, a main course, etc… For the price it is a steal of a deal if you stick with the program :)

One of the best meals I can remember eating in a really long time. A five course dinner with a fixed $ 55 price (you can upgrade a few items for more money) where every course was outstanding. I was very full by the end of the meal and was VERY content, except for the fact that I had to waddle my ass out of there after being too full. Every course also had a drink recommendation from the waiter and top notch service. Even the bathrooms were nice. I would definitely go back, especially for a nice date.

The menu at Sydney’s is price fix, 5 courses ($ 55 Per person i think?). Considering what you get, its a fantastic deal. The chefs always use fresh ingredients with new flavor combinations. It’s a joy to experience for any foodie.
