Unfortunately we bought over 1600 square feet of exotic wood from the Floor Show. The flooring is Brazilian cherry which was sold to us here in Winnipeg and manufactured by Vintage Flooring in Toronto. The floor has stress cracks and scuffs everywhere. The 25 year warranty was declined by Vintage since they assumed the winters have been too harsh in Winnipeg lately. If this is true, why does the Floor Show sell these products here after reassuring us that having a humidifier would suffice. They just wanted our money. After 2+ years of requesting that both the Floor show and Vintage stand behind their product, we are left with a nightmare having rip out and replace the floors at our cost. It has been a nightmare and I do not recommend you buy from either the manufacturer(Vintage) or the authorize dealer(The Floor Show)

The service here was ok. They claim to be the largest flooring company in the city and they probably are judging by the size of the building. They have a huge selection but service is ‘meh’. The gentlemen we dealt with was nice and personable but he talked our ear off(a little too much) when all we wanted was just straight info and advice on what to do with our space. Anyhow, we were looking at flooring for only one room(as a start) so I don’t think he was overly interested in our business, that is, relative to other jobs. Feels like they like the big projects and/or commercial stuff. Just a feeling I got even though that if they had won me over, there would be more flooring projects as we slowly renovate our house. Pricing wise, after adjusting for the different style of carpet, their estimate was within the range of the other 2 quotes I obtained.
