I find the coffee tastes consistently burnt. I actually prefer most other coffee places(including McDonalds) over Tim Hortons. I think they wouldn’t be that big of a deal if they didn’t have the«WE’RECANADIAN» marketing push. They’re TV ads basically make me want to slit open my eyeballs with maple leafs. Overrated.

Yes, I’d like to be the first to review this Tim Hortons. I know many readers who might read my reviews are NOT from Canada. But in the event that you do visit or end up in any Canadian Province, you must check out a Tim Hortons. They’re pretty much all over Canada and they’re open 24 Hours!!! If only Starbucks would take note. FYI — I did stumble upon a Tim Hortons in New York City. I believe there are a few of TimHos in the city — just in case you’d like to try Tims. However, because I have not tried a cup of joe from the NYC location — I will not vouch for its tastefulness. During my last visit in Winterpeg(eh! — July 08) I noticed that they recently added espresso shots to their drink options. Kudos for the extra strength in their coffee. A double-double is of equal coffee, cream and sugar. Extra espresso makes it taste like a latte(my favorite). I also have to mention that the breakfast here is astounding. I really like their sausage, egg biscuit. I actually like it more than McDs. They also have other pastries. I love their chocolate chip muffins. Donuts or TimBits(Donut holes) are a hit too. If you’re a caffeine feign like some of us — whether it’s 9 a.m. or even 3:30 a.m. you can count on Tim Hortons to be open.
