A superb used, antiquarian and new bookstore, The Odd Book is one of the reasons we want to move to Wolfville. Serious bibliophiles will find more than one book they simply must have on every visit. The owner is a real expert and a pleasure to chat to. This is the real deal, folks — I just hope it sticks around for a few more years!

Very clean, well organised book shop with an interesting and unique collection. The owner is very helpful and sometimes gives discounts if he likes you. It’s a great stop for students, tourists, and locals. Many students will sell their old textbooks here and some(I’m not sure about all) professors at Acadia will order their books through him instead of the campus book store because it costs the students less. If you’re a student on a tight budget, a visitor interested in some local literature, or just somebody in need of an interesting read, check out The Odd Book.

I can get lost in here for hours. Books are everywhere! I feel like I’m perusing my grandfather’s library rather than in a store. The man who runs the place is way awesomer than my grandfather too. He’s intelligent, witty, full of advice and interesting facts. Also, bring in your old books, he would be happy to trade or give you a discount. I don’t even know how this place gets any business. I never see him making a sale, just chatting with the customers and making trades.
