The store is huge with so many beautiful choices of dresses. I provided my budget and Rita really helped me stick to it, not just by finding the right dresses but by being open to bargaining — I was getting off the rack since my wedding was in a few weeks. I ended up buying my dress here after scouring the GTA. Really great service from Rita, make sure you get her to help you :) The only downside is their in house alterations were atrociously priced. How can you charge $ 100 just to steam a dress?!

I write this review on behalf of my wife: Do yourself a favour and stay away from this place at all costs. We had an abhorrent experience with this place across the board – dresses, fittings, alterations, customer service… they were all absolutely terrible. Here’s what happened: We ordered our extremely over-priced/expensive dresses for our two flower girls, but the lady taking their measurements sized them way too large. This meant that we had to pay for(again), extremely expensive alterations for each dress. Not only that, but we were advised the final alterations would be completed two days before the wedding date(which was already close enough to the wedding date). When we arrived on the date they were to be ready, we were advised that they ‘mis-scheduled’ and that, in fact, the dresses would be ready the next day(i.e. the day before the wedding). As if that wasn’t cutting it close enough, we arrived in the morning the day before the wedding when the dresses were to be ready… only one of them was and the lady was still working on the alterations for the second dress – they told me to come back in two hours and they would be ready. At this point, we were furious. It’s less than 24 hours before the wedding and they still had not completed the alterations. I came back in two hours to pick them up – they were ready(finally). I speak to the attendant to complain and tell her that I’m not paying for the final alterations($ 75) considering how inconvenient this all was. The attendant refused to listen to me and would not allow me to leave without paying. I tell the attendant I’d like to speak with the owner/manager and she tells me that she’s not available. I tell her I’d like the manager’s phone number so I can lodge a complaint and explain the situation. The attendant tells me A) they don’t have it; then B) they’re not allowed to give it out. The attendant tells me I have to email the generic email address to schedule a meeting with the manager to lodge my complaint. I say rather loudly that this is the worst customer service I’ve received in my life. I pull out my phone, Google the business name and show her that the business has a 2.8 rating with a plethora of negative reviews. I tell her it will be my mission to bring that number to 0. I then email the manager to schedule a meeting and, two weeks later, have heard no response from them. I left the store after paying for the alterations and, while placing the dress in my car the cheap little hanger they provided breaks like a twig – regretfully, I had to go back in an request another hanger, which they begrudgingly provided. This was, by far, the worst overall experience I’ve had in my life. Not just clothing shopping. Not just customer service. This was a terrible life experience and I would HIGHLY recommend everyone boycott this establishment until they come to realize that customer service is actually important in this day and age. I would rather pour hot tar all over my face than deal with this«business» again(using the term«business» very liberally). Avoid at all costs.

I came in to New Bridal today to check out the bridesmaid dresses. The dresses available were okay but nothing special. They had some dresses that other bridal stores didn’t have but I wasn’t too impressed. The change rooms have a flimsy curtain in front and do not completely close. You pretty much flash everyone in the upper level when you try on the dresses. That is something that really turned me off from this store. They also seemed understaffed. It was definitely an interesting experience.
