Nicely located in Market Lanes Shopping Centre with Cataldi and the Ontario Early Years Centre, makes this particular library most convenient for me since I’m in this plaza regularly. If you have a stroller or wheel chair you require the librarian to call the elevator for you with a key. I guess they only want people that really need it to be using it, but it’s a minor inconvenience. It is a pretty small location and I’ve only noticed three computers for public use, there are likely more elsewhere in the library, but these three are in the children’s area and one has a touch screen, pretty cool stuff for kids to play on. For that reason I believe there are other computers elsewhere for grown ups. The children’s area is decent everything is pint sized and my daughter likes it. In my opinion the options of books are in someways wide, but when I was looking for particular books none of them were there, it is possible they were out I suppose. They also have CDs and DVDs, even a few Blu-Rays, for children and adults. In my experience it would seem that people have been using the DVDs as frisbees, we borrowed a DVD, the bottom which the laser reads was scratched up, and it jumped and kept freezing. It’s disappointing that people can’t return things in the same condition they received them in so other people can enjoy them as well. That’s not the fault of the library though. The space isn’t crowded even though it isn’t a big space, and is kept nicely. Downstairs there is another area with all the reference books. We didn’t spend much time there as it was what we were after, but good to know it’s there.

Apparently Woodbridge Library share the same parking lot as Market Lane Shopping Centre I got a little confused with where the entrance as there is not much lighting. Woodbridge Library is a lot smaller than what I expect but at least the library itself is clean and spacious. There are free computer terminals for anyone to use if you don’t have your own laptops. Free Wifi access always great for out of towners like me that don’t have a library card!
