–Very friendly and helpful service –Cool selection of stuff, everything from reclaimed heating vent grates to dresser pulls to vintage lighting to full pieces of furniture. Basically lots and lots of vintage and antique hardware. –I got a bunch of knobs for our cupboards. The cost was less than what I’d pay new for something similar and they were unique with some nice wear on them. I also picked up a cool pinecone hook, it was $ 10 and made of some seriously substantial cast iron. –One thing, the screw they tried to sell me with the knobs, they wanted $ 1.50 each(screw was not reclaimed/vintage), I went to Home Depot and got similar screws for ~&0.30 each. Just a tip.

This place has an immense inventory of architectural antiques and is an addictive pleasure to visit. Huge, glorious Victorian and Edwardian leaded glass windows, richly patina’d door and window hardware, whole oriel windows, it goes on and on… walk inside at noon and discover a moment later that is five pm and you’ve missed lunch and never noticed. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable, patient, and kind. I have purchased an entire house worth on hinges and door handles here — old things impossible to find but miraculously they were here. Prices aren’t cheap but aren’t crazy either — go here for special things to bring character to your house, things you will want to take care of.
