I was here with niece and nephew a few years back using Groupon. I was very happy with the corn maze and the other activities arranged for the whole family. The maze had entrance A, B & C, each with different level of difficulty. The children found the maze super cool, so it was good enough for me. There was a wagon ride around the farm. One host(farmer?) introduced what Cooper’s CSA(Community Supported Agriculture) Farm did(member based direct farm products weekly purchases program), and that we could buy a subscription if we liked. At the end of the day, each child could pick up a pumpkin, costs included in the Groupon entrance fee. Both my niece and nephew made a Jack-O-Lantern out of the pumpkin. This is good family fun. I wouldn’t mind coming again if the children want to. Pick a sunny day and enjoy!

I’m driving back to Toronto with a car full of teary eyed kids. We got to the maze at 6:05 on a Friday after driving through rush hour traffic. We were informed by the guy who runs the place that the cut off was 6pm and we couldn’t go through the maze. It seems kind of ridiculous that 5 minutes would make such a difference. I am very disappointed with this place.

Being a lover of all things Halloween, i had to check out this place. Thinking I’d beat the crowd and come on opening weekend(Sept 7th), we were the only ones there. Anti-social success! The maze, our main reason for our hour trip to this farm, was pretty awesome. At 8 dollars a person, you can get yourself lost anywhere from 45 min to 2 hours. All depends on how good your sense of direction is and your Baseball trivia as there are signs along the way to help guide you out faster. 2 hours 45 minutes later, I made it out alive. Woo! There are kid mazes as well so kids can have a good time without being lost for too long an amount of time as it’s a much easier maze. But if you want to have your child lost for a few hours and/or permanently, by all means, send them in the adult one. There are a few things for children to enjoy — as it is more of a child place. A few animals here and there, a corn-box(instead of a sand box — genius). Wagon rides, etc. I didn’t let that stop me from trying each and every slide, swing, and toy. Bottom line — a cool place to check out at least once during the fall season — fun for the whole family! Unless you suck at baseball trivia. Note — every year, they change the design of the maze along with the trivia, but if you go this year, freshen up on those home runs, leafs, oilers, and bunts!

We checked out Cooper’s CSA Farm this past Sunday after purchasing a Groupon for admission and two u-pick Pumpkins. It only cost us $ 18 for four people, which was a fantastic deal. I have a major soft spot for farms that open their doors to vistors and provide an afternoon of fresh air and fun, and this farm fit the bill perfectly. Some of the attractions are definitely more child-oriented, but that didn’t stop us from enjoy the horse swing and wagon ride. It would have been nice if a schedule had been posted for the wagon ride, as we boarded and then waited 20 minutes before it left. That being said, we got to see chickens and goats, and actually learn a lot about them in the process.(Note to parents: the staff does not pull any punches when it comes to speaking frankly about where meat comes from. If your child can’t hand the thought of pigs or chickens being slaughtered, best avoid the wagon ride). The corn maze was fantastic — one of the best I’ve ever done. At 10 acres it was amazingly massive with an appropriate number of twists and turns without being too overwhelming. It was also broken into three sections, so there was the option to do only one part or all components of the maze. My favourite mazes have a scavenger hunt component and this one didn’t, but there was the occasional pumpkin trivia question designed to help lead you in the right direction. There were also staff members wandering the maze, ensuring you didn’t get too lost. Hot food was available for purchase on site — fresh french fries and pulled beef sandwiches, hot dogs and cups of hot chocolate. The prices were more than reasonable, and we greatly appreciated the opportunity to purchase a snack between activities. We used our Groupon on the last possible day, so the pumpkin patch was admittedly a little picked over, but we still managed to find the perfect pumpkin to carve this Halloween. Before leaving, we were able to purchase some farm fresh produce and eggs, and I’m very excited to cook with everything I bought over the next week or so. All in all, a great experience for a great price.

This is a great place to spend a nice afternoon with your family! If you don’t have a family yet, you’ll still enjoy this place as long as you have a heart of a child! Ten of us came here just on the weekend before halloween. The difficulty of the corn maze wasn’t too challenging. There were 3 mazes altogether. 2 big mazes and 1 mini one. The mini one is called«No Left Turn Maze» although it is tiny, but very challenging if you follow the rules. For the two main maze, we split up into 5 teams, and went in at intervals, amazing race style, so we were running in the maze and had to duck because we don’t want others to see where we were or point other teams to the wrong direction. If you walk at a normal pace, it takes about 45 mins to 1 hr per maze. The farm also raised some goats and boars. They were very adorable… but is not a petting farm unfortunately. This farm is mainly focused on its activities, they only have a few selection of farm products. So, if you’re looking for great local produces, you will be disappointed here.

Just 1 hour from Toronto, this we came up to the farm for something fun and different to do a Sunday October Pumpkin weekend. It’s a family friendly farm, with animals(goats, boars, rabbits and some chickens? with a dog guarding them), wagon rides(to a place where there was sheep), and a HUGE corn field turned maze. It seems like they create a new maze every year from the harvested crops, this year it was Heart and Stroke themed. There are two mazes, and it took us probably at least 30mins to finish at a leisurely pace. It was actually a good challenge, and a nice walk. I thought it would have been easier, but I guess using your gut isn’t always the best strategy. I have a horrible sense of direction, and I think it was part of it. Along they way, there were signs with Heart and Stroke trivia questions which will help point you to the right way, if you know the answer. If not, it provides a good reference tool to help eliminate the wrong choices. There were some kids with their parents running around in there. Also be careful of hooligans throwing corn through the stalks. It seems really dangerous, and slightly annoying(you know who you are!), but a very good hiding spot to scare people for sure. There’s also a mini maze, which you have to figure out how to get through with No Left Turns. Easier said than done. At the entrance, they sell market fresh produce, and at the back some baked goods. I think there is also pumpkin patch, but I’m not sure. Admission is $ 8, and kids under 3 are free. Each $ 1 goes to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. We got here around 2:30pm and were done around 4:30pm. They close at 5pm. Their event calendar is here: and seems like they hold a NIGHTTIME full moon maze in early october. That sounds terrifying. Fully recommended for kids and adults looking for something near the city to do. Will mostly come back next year!
