Kedai Kopi Happy Day

After having some assam laksa across the street at the Air Itam Market Annex Food Court, I stepped into Kedai Kopi Happy Day. I didn’t remembered the name of this place until I found it using the Google street view feature. The bus stop on Jalan Paya Terubong outside the restaurant being the indicator.
In the front are a couple of Chinese food stands. One serving wan ton mee which I was not interested in since I already had noodles. And another stand which I was interested in trying out, though I have since forgotten what it served. The lady at that stand was not paying any attention to me, so I just went inside.
The interior of this restaurant is a bit downtrodden. But most of the buildings I encountered in Air Itam were as well so it is par for the course. In the back you will find a café which offers fruit juices.
I had initially asked for a certain juice, but they didn’t have it. So I think that I ended up ordering apple or carrot juice. Can’t recall which. The price was reasonable. Less than US $ 1. It was cheaper than the juice stand that I tried at Penang Hill.
If you are looking to quench your thirst after trying Penang specialties in Air Itam, this juice place would be worth stepping into.
