It wasn’t bad and it wasn’t sublime but I would definitely suggest people to give it a go. Well, maybe it was cause I just had the classic? My friend had the one with the avocado which he really enjoyed and devoured. And I really appreciated that they had sweet potato fries because YUM. Oh, and we had the mushroom appetizer with the siracha mayo, eh mer gerd, get in my belly stat.

One of the better burgers I’ve had! I was having a serious burger craving and this place was exactly what I needed: I had the champ, with turkey ham and sunny side egg and unprocessed cheddar(which gave a nice little, distinct flavor) — would definitely come again, if only Desa Sri Hartamas isn’t so obscenely difficult to park at.

The first time I went here, I ended up staying pretty much the whole day but that’s because I chose this place as my office for the day to get some work done! Of course, when I entered I was like«wow» this place is new… never been here before! The setting was so pretty and they had a little cosy spot on the outside area for you to hang out at. Not surprised at all, their burger(The classic one) was so good and I was so impressed by the buns and the patty. First off, they had those green seeds on the bread and the bread was so soft to bite into, including the burger patty. It was really tasty. They added lots of vegetable’s inside and I had extra veggie’s on the side too. You have a choice of whether you want it with french fries or sweet potato fries. I came during lunch so they had a lunch set, so my burgers came with the drink of my choice, which was lemon tea. We also tried their Nacho’s with avocado and salsa on the side. The salsa was pretty bland, didn’t have that salsa tangy taste, the salmon Bruschetta wasn’t too bad either but holy wow!!! Their pesto pasta was the bomb! It was really tasty with a tinge of lemony zesty taste(never had that on a pesto before) but I absolutely enjoyed that. All that for only RM60 ++ which wasn’t bad at all considering all the food I tried that day!

Just as i thought Desa Sri Hartamas is filled with Mamak, coffee shops, cake house, steamboat and many more but having to maintain good food is hard and only a few out of so many only serve good food and when i say good food i meant restaurant quality. My partner brought me here when he tried the burger when he was working and so he brought me here and kept saying the burger is so good! and so i tried the beef burger and as it served with crispy fries and a small bowl of salad, he was right. Not only the presentation of the food was good for pictures but the meat was bigger than my light brown bun. it looks so good than my saliva started falling. Time to dig in! I took a big bite and gosh the cheese on top of the meat just completed the best burger i have ever tasted. The meat was perfectly simmered and cooked. We also ordered the fresh oyster served in a pan fry and a slice of lemon on top and the last meal, seafood pasta was THEBOMB! — top with mussels and prawns and simmered with cheese. The food is almost same quality with Three Little pigs. After our food, we ordered gelato that is from Cielo Dolci and the cakes are from Switch Café. Definitely will come again and keep your eyes out, this place has potential!

Another burger joint? Meh. Another burger joint that is super affordable? Alright, but meh. Another burger joint that is super affordable with a hipster-based concept? Ahhh, and the crowd goes wild! But seriously though, what is it with the overnight mushrooming of burger businesses? Naturally, I dejected a little when my friends suggested Buns. But after a whole lot of(forceful) coercion, I finally budged. In all fairness though, Buns did manage to appear pretty posh for a burger joint. I had the Scampi Dory, which was a dory fillet, some shrimp, cucumber and mayonnaise sandwiched between 2 buns. Definitely an interesting take on burgers, and for an affordable price too! If you’re not much of a burger fan, feel free to try out some of their other dishes like meatballs or mozzarella croquettes. I have to say though, they do stuff you up with quite the portions. Be sure to keep that in mind if you ever order. Like a famous poet once said, «My anaconda don’t want none unless you got Buns, hun.» Word.

If you are in the mood to have a great burger meal, I recommend you to try this amazing restaurant, located in Sri Hartamas. Some says that this is one of the restaurants that you are willing to travel for! And I agree Buns is finicky about its burgers, employing patties constructed from free-range, grass-fed Australian beef, freshly ground daily, & buns sourced from a cautiously selected supplier; mercifully though, the outlet keeps prices relatively affordable, with a basic burger starting from RM16, with none surpassing RM20. What makes Buns more distinctive: the presence of tapas. Buns is blessed with an experienced chef who’s honed his craft in KL. His craftsmanship is evident in offerings like bruschetta topped with smoked salmon, egg & balsamic tomatoes(RM14). Overall: Its a charmy little place with some innovations worth trying. Service was also good. Prices and portions size fair. If u r close to Sri Hartamas and into burgers. Try it. Its worth it. P. S. The restaurant closes on Mondays.

Buns is just another burger joint that competes with the sudden rising of burger selling restaurants in KL and PJ, and it has to compete with its nearby Fatboys and Ramly’s(yes, Ramly’s) to be a part of a cult culture. That did not take long. Its burger patties are enormous, its service is decent and its ambience is amazing for a burger joint. It is extremely hipster-like, with many of the ornaments catering towards the black color to juxtapose with the golden brown buns it famously serves, which is the reason why the color profile of this place is pretty good in the first place. While it may be hard to find parking, it is definitely worth it to come here just to taste its amazing burgers. Take me for my word, humans. Trust me.

WAWAWYWA! You know when you are walking around this shady area where everything seems really non pleasant and suddenly you bump into this super hipster — cool burger place? Well that is exactly what happened to me. I have no idea how come and why is this amazing restaurant is in this location — but I just stopped questioning and gave it a chance. Ohhhh I was pleasantly surprised. This is one of the restaurants that you are willing to travel for ! the prices are around 16 – 20RM for a burger and it’s really worth it :)!
