This is an authentic Indonesian restaurant which you can find it in KL Sentral Train Station. They have delicious dishes with chicken and rice and many options for seafood. The most interesting dish is Penyet Cat Fish, which I tried because I liked the name. The price was around RM15 and it came with rice. They also have very good soup. The place is always full because is very close to the airport lines and other train lines, so people are passing here all the time to eat. The food is served quite fast and you need to know that the place is very load. Because is always full and very close to other restaurants, you cannot have a good conversation. The yables are also quite close to each other

This place is just everywhere I go. Since I got to Malaysia I got to visit this place during a team dinner and we had this whole set of different meals that everyone was trying out. it was just delicious. for me it was the first time trying food in Malaysia, I was quite new here at the time and I remember thinking that some of the food was spicy for me, but then again back home we don’t have so much hot spices as here. but one thing i remember most is thinking how delicious the food was and how I loved the atmosphere in the outside area.

Ayam Penyet means smashed fried chicken. It’s an Indonesian cuisine and usually serve with a slice of cucumber, fried tofu, tempeh(fermented soy product) and of course, sambal. Penyet Express serve more than Ayam Penyet. They serve a variety of Penyets! They have Ayam Penyet(fried chicken) Penyet Beef, Penyet Cat Fish, Penyet Prawn, Penyet Promfret and Penyet Ribs(beef). The Penyets are serve in sets that with a choice of either one type of Penyet with a bowl of plain rice and a bowl of soup ranging from RM11.60 to RM14.90. I always goes for the simplest Ayam Penyet with rice. If you’re not into rice, they also serve noodles and few choices of soups and of course they serve drinks as well. One of the reason we are here for lunch was because my colleagues love their sambal(there’s another shop selling Ayam Penyet nearby but my colleagues prefer Penyet Express’s sambal). I am not much of a sambal person but I love their«Crispy». Some kind crispy stuff that they put on top of the Penyet which is super crispy and delicious but fattening. Hehe. Oh, you have to request for it cause usually they only put very little on top of the Penyets.
