Overall foods quality is not up to my expectation, for example hot soup is not hot and dishes did not come on time. Foods quality is not equal as what customer paid.

Jogoya located in Starhill Gallery in bukit bintang is the largest buffet restaurant in Malaysia. It has a variety of different cuisines like western food, chinese food and the main one being Japanese food. When I first when to jogoya which was years ago, the quality of the food was good. But I recently visited Jogoya this year with my extended family and I was quite surprised to see that the quality of the overall place has dropped. It wasn’t the same as how it used to be before. Food was served at a more slower pace and some dishes took long to restock, especially drinks. The food tasted alright but it being one of the top Japanese restaurants and having an established reputation, I did expect more. But on a brighter note, there were tonnes of different dishes being served and prices for adults are around RM92++. I didn’t think the price was that expensive because the choices we had to pick from that night was overwhelming. The staff here were really friendly and they did tried their best to cater to our needs.

Jogoya is definitely one of my favourite place to do buffet in Malaysia. I love that they have a lot of varieties and in really great quality of food. Their place is really big as well, so you can always browse around and find a lot of different food on each corner. They have a really fresh sashimi and lots of types of sushi there. Other than that you have to try their Chilean abalone, yabbies(freshwater crayfish), and definitely the all you can drink fresh coconut. I have so many coconuts last time that I feel like I was going there for coconut more than the food. They have fancy ice cream as well, Haagen-Dazs and New Zealand Natural ice ream are laid out just for you. No wonder for all this great selection of food you have to pay some price which I think is totally worth it if you are a heavy eater and not on diet. Price starts from RM82++ for lunch, dinner for RM92++, supper for RM82++ on weekday and will be more expensive on weekend.(RM88++ for lunch, RM98++ for dinner, and R82 for supper). Definitely worth trying!

If you love Japanese buffet, you’d definitely hear of Jogoya before. They are considered to be the largest buffet restaurant in Malaysia, and they are located at the top floor of Starhill Gallery. Same as your Japanese buffet, they offer both raw and cooked dishes. Undeniably, they have a wide spread of food, but I felt the quality was only average. You would have to place your order for certain cooked food. You’ll be handed some clips and you would need to drop the clips at the counter for the food you wanted, and they’ll serve them to you. The pricing at Jogoya is definitely not cheap but they have promotions and offer member benefits too. I don’t fancy Jogoya as I’ve had better Japanese buffet at other places. However, if you think otherwise and would be drop by often, the applying for their membership might be a good idea.

All You Can Eat. Four words that every person wants to hear rather than the classically cliché I Love You Babe. Jogoya offers a whole lot of different dishes to choose from, easily more than 400 dishes of different styles such as Chinese, Western, Japanese and Malaysian. It is nearly impossible for anyone to leave this place without a giant food baby belly. Although this highly raved placed is known for their fresh salmon and overflowing chocolate fondue as well as endless supplies of Haagen Dazs ice cream, this place is also very rpicey. Lunch and suppers range from RM82++ per person whilst dinners are at RM92++. Nonetheless, I left this place pretty satisfied as I hogged on all their salads and vegan sushis.

Jogoya Restaurant over at Starhill has become one of the most sought-after Japanese buffets in Klang Valley ever since their opening in 2006. Jogoya is well-known as the ‘largest buffet in Malaysia”, serving up an extensive variety of Japanese, Western and local cuisine. The interior of Jogoya can seat around of 600 guests easily and is divided up into many partitions such as the disclosed and semi-disclosed area, private couple seats, as well as the VIP rooms. In terms of price though they tend to be a tad pricey, as they offer up a more wider and tantalizing choice of dishes than your average buffet restaurant. Prices range from RM82++ for lunch, RM92++ for dinner as well as RM82++ for supper. However Jogoya does offer up promotions for their members, on public holidays as well as special celebrations(ie Mother’s Day, Merdeka, etc). Given they serve a pretty diverse selection of cuisine, the highlight would definitely be their Japanese food. There’s always a fresh batch of sushis, barbecue and sashimis laid out on their dining table and naturally, is loved by many!

Quality getting less and less good, they still maintain the same price. It used to be really good where they serve limitless of coconuts to you, where they will prepare for you. However, now you would need to open your own coconuts. They do serve a wide range of sashimi and fresh oysters here, however as well you might find the food quality has somehow gotten not as good as they were before. However, their desserts selections are still to be complimented about. A lot for you to choose from and most of them are above average kind of good. Do look out for their festive promotions where they sometimes have discounts up to 50% which could be a really good deal. Overall, still a good place to go if you’re craving for a wide ranged buffet where you can spoil yourself with choices.

Jogoya is popular among the locals for its Japanese buffet. It is located in Starhill Gallery with cozy, spacious and upscale ambience. It provides 3 buffet sessions each day from lunch(11am to 4:20pm), dinner(5pm to 9:30pm) to supper(9:40pm to 11:40pm), and I personally think lunch is the best session as I have longer time to enjoy the foods. It is the best you can make reservation before going to the restaurant in case it’s been fully booked, especially during promotion periods. Jogoya doesn’t just provide Japanese food. It also offers Chinese, Western, seafoods cuisines and tons of desserts that will surprise you! I love its Japanese sushis, grilled seafood, coconut drink, ice cream and soooo many cakes! It normally costs RM90 to RM100 based on different sessions. There are few promotions available such as birthday and weekend promotions. It also offers short-term promotion from time to time for around RM60 per person! Well if you are interested to its membership you can get more details by surfing its website.

I think many know about Jogoya in Starhill Gallery. Establish in 1990, Jogoya is one of the best Japanese Cuisine restaurant in Klang Valley. Basically, Jogoya serves its customers with buffet. Although it is a Japanese cuisine restaurant, Jogoya serves numerous type of food such as Chinese, dim sum, western, local etc. Besides that, Jogoya also serves pastry and dessert. The reason Jogoya has a lot of returning customers isn’t only because of various food choices, it is also because with only RM88++, customers can eat all they can, as long as your stomach can fit in, you can sit there for the entire afternoon, night or supper(basically each session in average has 5 hours dining time). Occasionally, Jogoya will have promotion on different celebration/festival. For example, the latest promotion now is for Chinese New Year, and later on Valentine’s Day. I went to Jogoya for several times; normally is at the afternoon and most were friend gathering. Sometimes, it was because of buy one free one promotion, which we all think is the most worthy promotion ever. Payment was made before dining. Then, the crew will lead you to your seat. If you would like to sit at specific corner, you may tell them for change. The ambience, need not to say, it was comfortable. Since Jogoya is a buffet restaurant, it is totally self-service. Once we settled down, we started grabbing our food. All food are fresh, some materials Jogoya keeps them in refrigerator. If you wish to have it, you can take it out yourself. Basically, sushi and Haaegen Dazs ice cream are the hot selling food among all. That is because both are considered high range price in the market. But at Jogoya, you are given to eat as much as you can. However, don’t stuff only these two dishes. I loved their tiramisu much! It was soft. Chewing slowly in mouth, you are able to taste the light liquor spreading out from the cake. Overall, Jogoya is a famous buffet restaurant in Kuala Lumpur. If you are the one who love buffet; or you can eat a lot, Jogoya is highly recommended to you.

If you love Japanese food and can eat like you’ve been stranded on a deserted island for a month, this would be paradise to you. A place where you can eat as much Japanese food as you like in a span of 2 hours, costing just about RM100 per person after including tax. They have the usual cold food like sushi and sashimi, hot food that you usually have to order, and desserts. In order to order food, they would provide you with a few clips with a number on it where you can walk around the restaurant and just drop it into little bowls which indicate the food they and they will deliver it to your table. However, some of the food are limited only to their members. They even have Chinese dishes like dim sum. They also teach you how to eat in order to avoid getting a stomach ache — i.e. having some a dish such as soup first before eating the cold dishes such as the sashimi — so thoughtful. It is definitely one expensive meal, but if you’re willing to spend or you feel that you can eat your worth, why not.

I go to Jagoya probably once in a blue moon. From my previous experiences, I have some ambivalent feelings about the place. On one hand I love the vast selection of food offer. Something about a buffet makes you eat more than your fair share and it isn’t an exception here. Standing apart from your typical buffet is that you can select dishes to be cooked right on the spot. However, I have left this place once feeling extremely sick. But I feel I can brush this off as a one time event. Although, the food and service was less than impressive and did not justify the pricing. Overall, a variety of different cuisines and its ability to accommodate large groups should be put be put into consideration should you ever want to come here. I have to recommended the coconut drink. Grab them before they’re all gone!
