Krispy Kreme

I don’t know about you guys but every time I see a restaurant on the first floor of Mid Valley I can’t help but think it is a little out of place amongst the multitude of surrounding clothing boutiques. But no matter, donuts are donuts right? They can be on the lifestyle and fitness level for all I care.
This small booth took over what used to be a hair care booth, which sold shampoos, serums and the works and mid valley is never short on hair care stores and saloons in its vicinity so its just as well to add another donut store right? We demand for more donuts and we will never stop demanding donuts!
They have a tiny sitting area where you could enjoy your donuts, coffee and sandwiches, owh yeah they sell coffee and sandwiches by the way, but I don’t think a lot of people do that. They would usually have their donuts and coffee to go. And to tell you the truth I do prefer Krispy Kreme than Big Apple, I think its not as sweet.
I’ve been here a couple of times and on both occasions I would notice one or two defeated looking husbands sitting with a cup of coffee and fondling their phones while they wait for their wives to max out their credit cards. You know, the typical Saturday morning.

Doughnuts are really good here, always one of my favourite spot to grab coffee and doughnuts!
I was here after my massage in Monz in the Boulevard, with a helpless craving for doughnuts and black coffee. I always find it difficult to decide how many doughnuts to get for myself when I’m at a doughnut store, but here they have sorted it out for you. If getting one is too little and getting half a dozen for their discounts is too much, then you can get their combo! Two doughnuts and one coffee — isn’t that great?
They actually have discounts for purchase of doughnuts (only) if you are using Maybank card, however the staff mistakenly told me that the offer applies for combo as well, so it ended up that I didn’t enjoy the discounts as I have ordered their combo.
Black coffee here are not bad, fresh brewed, so it’s good.
I ordered their oreo doughnut and kit kat doughnut this time — yes, I can’t beat it when chocolates are in front of me!
I must say that these two are really good. Rich chocolate and their doughnuts are quite fresh.
A place that you can consider if you are craving for doughnuts too!
