If you are a Japanese cuisine lover this is the spot for you. It is not your regular sushi spot, its slightly more stylist and with a lot of options on the menu. The restaurant has 2 rooms, one slightly more intimate and one a bit more casual. The menu is quite large so if it your first time here take you time with it or just ask your waiter for some help. They offer Temaki, Hoso Maki, sashimi, sushi mori, set menus and more. The prices are a bit high but the food quality is really good. As a tip the intimate room is a bit more quite as it is further away from the noisy area of the mall so if you want to take someone out who you can enjoy a great conversation with than pick that spot.

Taking it up a notch from the casual sushi bars & Japanese restaurants, you get Kuriya @ BSC. This stylish spot can seal the deal when it comes to satisfying your Japanese cravings. The entire restaurant gives you a very different feel contrary to the usual spacious layouts of most Japanese restaurants. A more natural feel with the wooden paneling & sushi bar surrounding the chef’s workstation, the dining area is systematically segregated to the private dining area, sushi bar & common dinning. Quality ingredient’s is never compromised here. Kuriya has some of the best fresh seafood & ingredient’s flown in on a weekly basis all the way from Japan to cook up a storm. Aside from their sobas, & sushis this place has some really good wagyu beef! My favorites here would definitely be the mix sashimi platter, salmon belly, and Australian wagyu. It’s the whole atmosphere, service & food which gives you that overall satisfaction! Well worth the try & I’d definitely be back for more.

I’m a huge fan on Japanese food and I love this restaurant. I’ve beed here once, but I will definitely go again soon. Ones you go inside you will be welcomed by an amazing and delicious smell of the food, which makes you feel even more hungry. Once you go inside, the staff will walk you at the table and, in case that is your first visit here, they will help you choose your meal. The menu is quite big, with a huge variety of Japanese dishes. The restaurant has 2 rooms… one inside in the right side, which is more romantic and with a romantic ambience and one area in the left side, which is more noise because it close to Ben’s restaurant and many people are passing by. The price of the food is decent but not cheep. But it worth it. The food is amazing. Another thing which I love about this place is the interior design and all the figurines and the decorative statues. Overall: This is must in regards to Japanese restaurants.

This is a beautiful place with fresh Japanese cuisine. Classic interior design with Japanese displays have created a feeling of tradition Japanese lifestyle in this restaurant. I love sitting at the sushi bar, watching the chef cutting sashimi. It’s a half open kitchen there, you can see some of the foods are preparing behind the sushi bar. The chefs are pretty cool, they don’t really talk to the customers. Some of them speak Japanese to each other but I don’t see them talking with customers but the waitress are friendly. They will standing aside waiting to assist you. Must try their sashimi because it’s really fresh and I would also recommend their cheesy pot with fried tempura. It’s a fried prawns dipped with cheesy sauce in a mini hot pot. I can’t really remember the name, please view my photos. Please don’t leave without their dessert! I personally love their pancake with green tea ice-cream and red bean. Is beautiful and delicious!

This is a great place to go on a date with someone who loves Japanese food. The ambience is very nice, the food is delicious and the price is reasonable. I recommend getting the chirashi sushi, which consists in sushi rice mixed with sashimi. Delicious! The service was really good too. Great experience in BSC.

The sashimi there was very fresh. The chef impressed me with his food. Everything I ordered was delicious. The only sad thing was, that there were too many foreign workers. What this restaurant needs is more local staff that are taught how to recommend food. I’ve come here a couple of times but the first time was definitely the best because there was this waiter that did a good job of recommending their specialities. When I came back again, impressed by the first time, and wanting to try their other things that I hadn’t had the stomach to try the first time round, one of the foreign waiters took my order but he couldn’t recommend as well as the first waiter.
