Machines Service

It was a cloudy Wednesday afternoon when my computer decided to pull one over me and decided to not switch on after a software update. Pulling my tears back, I took a quick shower and was soon in my car, laptop in-​tow.
There were two designated parking spots for Machines Customers in front of the store which I found to be extremely helpful but I guess it was on a first come first serve basis and the time limit was only half an hours. We got a space. The place was nice, clean, neat and modern. There were two ipads to the right of the entrance in which you have to enter your name in and it would signify your turn on the waiting list (talk about going green huh?) My baby and I were number 5 on the list then and we had about 10 minutes worth of waiting time.
It was soon our turn with one of the Apple Geniuses (as they are called) and I carefully explained what had happened to my laptop in detail. He was very helpful and understanding and explained to me what is actually going on with my laptop, although 30% of what he said was in a very technical jargon and I am hardly a genius. I trusted him with my baby and he gave me a receipt and said that my laptop would take about a week or so to be fixed, I agreed. I had to pay rm60 upfront (which will later be reimbursed in the final bill) to show that I agreed for them to take my baby into custody. A few days later they emailed me a quotation stating what needed to be repaired and the costing in detail, I replied that I agreed with the repairs and only then would they continue with works.
All in all, I was very satisfied with the service that was provided. The geniuses were friendly and reliable, but for the non-​geniuses like the rest of us, do ask them to explain things in a more non-​technical term so you could understand better.
