I used to like Plan B because the food was great, coffee was awesome, and great place to hang out. Now, I don’t like it at all. Yes, coffee is still pretty awesome but food. I want to vomit. I ordered kale salad because I wanted something healthy and clean because I wasn’t feeling well. When it arrived, my first thought was, ‘kale’ me now! Wait, no. ‘Kale’ that bloody chef who made this kale salad! You know what they put inside that healthy salad? Mamee Monster!!! Yes, apparently the crunchy bits described on the menu referred to Mamee bits. I couldn’t believe my eyes and that I’m paying RM18 bucks for that rubbish! Couldn’t even finish half of the disgusting salad, lack of dressings and disrespectful to the ingredients. I wanted to take a photo but I was with a friend, so I doesn’t want to divert my attention in taking food photos and ignore her. If you want to experience this horrible salad, order it. Otherwise, stay miles away from it.

THEGOOD: I am definitely a fan of their new menu! We ordered the tropical salad and the aglio olio spaghetti with grilled prawns added on. Both were scrummy! My salad was fresh, the flavours of the grilled pineapples balanced well with the roasted pinenuts, probably one of my favourite salads hands down. The spaghetti was also cooked perfectly(all dente just like it should be) and the seasoning was spot on, a little spicy, a little bit tart. The prawns were also incredibly fresh — this surprised me cause most places don’t often serve fresh seafood. I also ordered the Elderflower and Mint Lemonade — also very refreshing and delicious. Each entrée was between RM18 to RM30, don’t recall exact amount. My drink was RM12, I believe. THEBAD: I can’t think of anything bad cause my visit there was great. OVERALL: Great food, awesome service. Definitely worth a visit!(I’ve got my eye on the salted egg carbonara next hehehehe)

I first knew Plan B when my colleague and I were discussing on some of the best pastas in town. Interior wise, it’s a nice place to eat in — cozy and welcoming. Plan B serves a variety of dishes such as pies, burges, western meals, pasta and desserts. I tried their Spicy Aglio Olio and I must say their food is good. Portion-wise, it’s very generous and I’m quite satisfied. Price wise, it’s the price of normal cafes around. So nothing much to comment. I look forward to trying out their other dishes. *licks lips*

I’ve been to this Plan B outlet three times and I’ve had a good experience thus far. The restaurant is quite big and spacious so if you’re there early, you can choose your seats(I usually opt for the cushioned seats). The café give out a very warm and cozy feeling especially at night :) Plan B serves a variety of dishes including pasta, pies, burgers, sandwiches, breakfast dishes, dinners, western items, and asian items. A very big variety to choose from indeed. So far I’ve tried their Spicy Aglio Olio Spaghettini(RM13), Asian Style Golden Soft Shell Crab Spaghetti(RM19) and Moroccan Lamb Pie(RM18). All their dishes I’ve tried here is tasty but some just lack in seasoning and flavour. I would say their food is good. I look forward to going back to try their breakfast and brunch items!

I don’t think I will ever be a raving fan of Plan B. I just find that they don’t exercise enough quality control of their food or innovate their menu enough. But if I were to dine here — like the times I have to accompany my friends. There’s a few item I would be delighted to order such as the Nasi ayam percik or the soft shell crab pasta. The other day, I decided to be adventurous and tried the Salt beef n egg wrap which is one of the cheapest at rm26. They could have been more generous with the beef. Ultimately, I find this place severely overpriced but worth checking out for their drinks and dessert more than their main meals.

It’s quite funny every time I am visiting plan B which has a lot of western types of food like pasta or burger, I would always order the Asian food which is the Nasi Ulam, my favourite of all plan B dishes. It is a bit pricey, it will cost you RM33 but you will get rice, kerupuk, cucumber, pineapple, chicken and samba which is pretty spicy. YUM. I tried some other stuff that my friend ordered before which is pretty good as well like the Soft shell crab spaghettini(this will cost you RM26). It is pretty good as well, and it’s quite filling. Most of the time I will share my food with a friend of mine because they are quite generous with their portion. Another stuff to try is the sweet potato fries and also the Char-grilled kimchi chicken burger that will cost you RM23. other than the food, I like the ambience in this place as well. It’s nicely decorated with fresh flower, plus always can get free water here. They have pretty good wi-fi as well. It’s quite rare to find decent wi-fi especially in bangsar village, so I’m quite happy that I can work while eating my lunch here.

I head to Plan B whenever I feel like having eggs as I think they serve one of the best egg dishes in town. Their Eggs Benedict is just ridiculously good. I always have that when I go to Plan B and have yet to be disappointed. The egg is cooked just right so that when you poke into the yolk, it comes oozing out onto turkey bacon and bread. I always have to fight the urge to order two plates(yes, I can eat). The other dishes aren’t too bad either but for me, the Eggs Benedict is the winner.

It had been a long time since I’d been to Plan B, mostly because I felt that the standard of the food there had deteriorated. However, this time around my friend and I ended up there and I can honestly say we weren’t expecting much but to our surprise, the food had become so much better. I tried the spicy duck spaghetti and it was cooked quite well. I am normally quite apprehensive about eating duck because a lot of places make it too dry but I enjoyed it here.

I used to visit Plan B quite regularly as the location is convenient and the food was pretty good. However, a recent meal there made me feel that their quality has deteriorated a bit. I had the Eggs Royale, which really is poached eggs, smoked salmon with hollandaise sauce on top of a toasted sourdough bread. I felt that they went overboard with the sauce despite it being pretty bland. Altogether, it felt like i was eating tasteless and soggy bread with eggs and salmon. My friend, who ordered the Thai Style Vegetable Soup complained that it was too salty. Overall a disappointing experience, considering the prices we paid are not really cheap. If I were to come back, I would probably order something else as Plan B is still a convenient meeting place. Service is still good though but I guess that depends on the time of the day.

I first went to Plan B for brunch with my little sister, partied a little too hard the night before and craved for eggs Benedict the morning after. A friend had recommended the eggs there and swore by its hangover healing abilities, so I decided to give it a try. I also ordered a jug of warm water to rehydrate my organs, wasn’t really in the mood for orange juice after brushing my teeth. The eggs were fantastic, it was served on top of a sourdough muffin halves and a piece of turkey ham. The hollandaise sauce however was the best part, it was just the slightest bit sour, just the taste you look for to wake your taste buds up after suffering a night of heavy drinking and cigarette smoking. My friend was right, cause after brunch, we went home and took a good long nap and as soon as we woke up, the hangover was gone! Wasn’t quite sure whether it was the eggs or the nap that did the trick though. Could have been the water.

I find the name of this place fascinating. For those who are familiar with this restaurant, it always creates a little confusion as in ‘what do you mean by plan B for dinner?’. They have a few outlets available in KL and their interior design carries similar cues. Modernistic, dark, mysteriously cozy. I particularly like how all the staffs are all well trained. They always service with a smile and speaks with utmost clarity. At least this is true for all the counts I’ve visited Plan B. Plan B covers almost every type of food that is available in Malaysia. They have breakfast & brunch, burgers, salad, main course, pasta and Asian dishes. Your cravings of almost any food will be met when you’re here. I would say the pricing is a little above average for the portion they serve. I think it’s a good gimmick as this leaves room in your stomach for their rich variety of dessert choices.

I was pleasantly surprised how nice the service is in this restaurant. Waiters are very honest and sincere and they advise you what’s the best option without trying to convince you to pick the most pricy option. Even though restaurant is quite pricey, you are definitely getting the quality for what you are paying for. My favourite meal in this restaurant is Chicken Chop salad. You must try it! And i definitely think it’s a perfect place for Breakfast/Brunch! The atmosphere is not very special and they are not very particular about their music, but it is still a place worth a visit.
