This izakaya gets everything right, and it’s perfectly located in the«Golden Triangle» of Kuala Lumpur. They have tables outside to enjoy the weather and do a little people watching. The sushi and the yakitori are all some of the best I’ve had. Their beer and shochu selection are impressive as well. When you take into account the US dollar vs ringgit, then you will be even more surprised how great of a deal this place is. If you’re craving Japanese food in KL, defitintely come here.

A great place for chilling out after work or hanging out with friends. Easy to order meals by self-service tablet, and no one is bothering you while you are making decision. Many nice dishes to choose, like California rolls, BBQ pork don, fried chicken, and fresh ice cream!

Located along Jalan P Ramlee, you can take the LRT to KLCC and walk out of the entrance near Tiffany & Co. it is approximately a 5 minutes’ walk from KLCC. Trust me it is worth the walk to get the great food. This restaurant specializes in a lot varieties in grilled food and Japanese liquor. We were given an Ipad to order, such a technology savvy restaurant. One dish that you have to, listen to me HAVETO order is the Hokkaido Pork Don. They come in just the pork only or pork on rice. Fat and lean slices of pork, coated with their special BBQ sauce and grilling it to perfection, just to think about it writing this review makes me drool over the pork slices. Remember you have to order this dish when u visits Senya. Pair it with a glass of beer *BLISS”

I am used to go the Senya branch in Publika as it is nearer to where I stay and also not so much of jam, compared with the branch in KL city. However, tonight me and my colleagues had made a decision to visit the one in KL city to dinner and chill after work as Senya KL serves beers and wine. This was my first time been to the Senya branch in KLCC after they relocated. I would say the ambience is quite nice compared with the previous one, in terms of seating layout and the outdoor tables as well. However, no more KLCC night view(used to have before relocated). We ordered some food for sharing, can’t remember the name of the food, but there are some sushi roll topped with avocado, spicy ramen, Hokkaido pork don, sashimi don etc. The dining experience with Senya this time was really good! I love the sushi that ordered by my colleague, that topped with slices of crabmeat. Although the spicy ramen taste a bit like Korean Maggie Mee, but it is still good. The sashimi don was really worth it as it was topped with various types of sashimi cubes and the portion of rice and sashimi was 50⁄50. Super worth! Highly recommended!
