Simple Life is a restaurant that promotes healthy eating by incorporating 4 core principles which is low in sugar, salt, oil and high in fiber. There are a few branches around town but I’ve only tried the one in Leisuremall. I came across this restaurant because I wanted to have lei cha and I was surprised to find out they have it. I went around dinner time and the place was almost filled with customers. The place is clean and tidy and I felt comfortable sitting around the area. It has a simple interior design too. The food did not take too long to arrive even though there are many people. When my order arrived, I was glad they separated all the different ingredients. They were placed in a small rectangle bowls. They used organic brown rice instead of the usual white rice. It was also very smart of them to use a bigger rice bowl so all the ingredients can be mixed properly. The portion was just nice for me. The price is above average but since they used organic food, it costs a little expensive.

I personally don’t really like to eat vegetarian food but this morning my mom suggest to give it a try. Then I realise that it was not that bad. I have tried on their fried rice. The set of rice is served with a bowl of rice, a bowl of soup and a bowl of salads. The rice cooked with red beans, eggs, corns and more. It is also serve with some broccoli and fried tofu on the fried rice. It is a very healthy food as it have no meats in it and it is not very oily. The price of the dishes is quite acceptable as the set of rice just cost me RM14.90(excluded tax). I also ordered a cup pf hot ginger tea which cost me RM5.90. The drink taste bad but the food is nice.
