Is it just me or is Tissot the go-​to watch for hantarans when people get married? I’m at that age where a lot of my friends are getting hitched and most of the brand the bride and groom get for each other is a Tissot. I guess Tissot has unintentionally tapped in the newlyweds market, those who are looking for a mid-​range watch brand, which is both reliable and classic.

The shop is nice and spacious. The display units were in either black, white or red (hello Ferrari!) and the walls were mostly black. It screamed modern, sporty masculinity. There was an array of watches to look at and the choices seemed endless. How a couple ever agrees on one is beyond me. There is a strong motorsport feel as you enter this shop, it could be the Ferrari colors or the straight lines that ran throughout the shop.
Whatever it was, this shop should be a considered one of the main stops whenever you’re about to get married. It is both affordable (as compared to say a Patek) and prominent. And besides, you wouldn’t want to jinx the marriage from the start yeah?
