The place was a little hard to find. No signboard. Its ontop on the first floor. Once you see the good batch café. Its right on top. The place was kinda mystique. Secret door once you go up the stairs. When i went it was not packed but there a couple of reservations. So i had to sit at the bar with my fiancée. We asked the waiter for suggestions as there are so many cocktails to choose from. I took the old spiced whisky. It was very nice. It costed me RM50 but it was worth it. Overall very classy place and i would recommend it for small crowds less than 6. So you can a nice little chat and enjoy your drink.

Upon arrival back to my home town, I insisted on discovering all the cocktail bars KL had to offer. One of my friends suggested Hyde at 53m so there I was, ready to try everything! :) My mate made a reservation for 9pm. They have a policy where if you don’t show up after 15min passed your reservation, they’ll let go of your table so be sure not to be late! The place itself is hidden but it’s just above Good Batch! But there aren’t any signs directing you to the bar so make sure to look up haha. The waiter who attended to us was very friendly and knowledgable about cocktails! He gave us many suggestions according to what our preferences were. I ordered their signature cocktail called Japonism! It had eggwhite and sake in it. Super nice for those who like whiskey sours! I loved it. They have a small selection of beer and wine as well, but I’d say try the cocktails if you’re there. They’re quite well made! The place itself is very dark and elegant looking so where smart casual if you wanna follow the mood of the place. But they’re not too fussy about dress code so don’t worry. Will definitely go back! It was a nice night with lovely service and drinks :)
