SS2 is near to my office, so my man and I always go there for our lunch. But guess what, sometimes it is really boring to eat at the same shop. Food court, steamboat, mixed rice etc. We are tiring to eat the same food. Coincidentally, we spot Sushi Tomo from the roadside. We immediately made our decision to try out something new. Sushi Tomo initially was located beside Zouk Spa; and afterward relocated at the upper floor. The owner of Sushi Tomo is a Japanese while his wife is a Korean. The menu of Sushi Tomo listed a lot of different Japanese food. By the way, Sushi Tomo is pork free Japanese restaurant; however, it is not halal because it still serves alcoholic drinks. Since we went during lunchtime, and we still need to work later on, we didn’t try out their SoJu. We ordered green tea and few plates of sushi rolls. The lady boss was the one who took our order and made the rolls for us. The sushi rolls have two different rice — white rice and brown rice. Basically, it didn’t taste differently; only the colors were different. The rice was solid, it wasn’t easily loose. The soft shell crab was delicious too. It was crunchy and the crab was meaty. Overall, the food in Sushi Tomo was delicious. We love their food much. All the ingredients Sushi Tomo used were fresh. We will definitely return to Sushi Tomo and not to forget to try SoJu.
