Among the many restaurants and cafes in the newly built KLIA2, Nanny’s Pavilion was one that caught our attention. It is a spacious eatery that screams traveler and hipsters in every sense. Like the suitcase-inspired chairs and sofa practically invites hungry travelers to just sit back and relax. As such we decided to park our suitcases here for an early lunch before our flight. At the Mezzanine Floor, it was relatively quiet. I can potentially see weary travelers having a shut eye on the comfy sofas. My sister and I ordered the Ceasar Salad and Pancakes to share. Everything about the salad was generous, from the amount of chicken to the salad dressing. Which made it for a pretty soggy salad. A pity as I liked everything else about it. But salvation came in the form of pancakes. I’m not sure if it was because it came right after our disappointing salad or what, but it was really yummy. It was fluffy and warm, and accompanied by butter and maple syrup, we finished it in a matter of seconds. It was only after my trip there did I hear that they serve pretty good waffles. Along with its reasonable price, I wouldn’t mind coming back. Not for the salad though.
