Chili’s

Very much like a chain — but still has its’ standard maintained, I suppose that deserves a four star! With the increasing difficulties getting a good cocktail in KL, I wouldn’t say that chili’s cocktails are great — but their Bloody Mary is still decent, and at least something I order repeatedly when I’m there. Of course, they are obviously well known for their margaritas as well — which is A-​OK.
While at chili’s, you could order chilies. And yes, their chilies is decent. Nothing to be wowed about, but tastes okay. I ordered their steak here, which I thought some other dishes here definitely are more worth trying here than that.
Dishes like fajitas and nachos are great for sharing, and really good to go with beers during happy hours too.
This branch has a hidden outdoor dining area at the end of the restaurant, and the area is really breezy while it’s raining too. You might need to ask the staff to lead the way for you.
Also, come early during peak dining hours if you do not want to wait too long for your food!

Chilli’s is just an old family favourite of mine. It’s got sentimental value man! I’ve been going to this franchise since I was in middle school! Haha
Depending on the branch you go to, you’d either get horrible service or angels disguised as waiters. Lucky for Empire, they have a pretty decent Chilli’s team. Sometimes they can be a bit clumsy but they do their best. The ushers and managers are usually the best! And the bartenders too.
Unfortunately, due to current national economical situations, prices of food in the establishment have gone up like crazy! My favourite snack, bottomless tostada chips with salsa, was RM10 two years ago! It’s like almost RM20 now? Wow. It’s not their fault though but damnnnnn $$$$
Anyway, when I’m there, my go-​to dishes are, as mentioned before, bottomless tostada chips with salsa (add beef queso if you’re feeling fancy), the chicken explosion quesadilla (I think that’s the name … More or less … It’s a salad) and buffalo wings! These are perfect to share with friends! Top it off with bottomless ice lemon tea and PERFECT! Haha
Anyway, again this is a sentimental one for me. I’d go just because I crave something delicious from my adolescence lolol :)
