Grand Hotel

We have stayed at the Grand Hotel Acapulco several times. And each time is as good as the last. We stayed for a whole week in June and everything was amazing. The bell boys had terrific service, the desk clerk was very informative and helpful. Our room was on the 16^th floor and the view of the ocean and bay of Acapulco was breathtaking! The room was up to date and beautiful! The shower was separate from the toilet area, so more than one person could be doing what they needed at the same time. The pools are well kept and clean and big enough for every age to enjoy. The breakfast buffet was included with our room price and we enjoyed it every morning. It was very busy on the weekend, and we had to wait in line for an open table, but all of the food was wonderful. They had an array of Mexican food, plus breads, cereals, and pancakes. Omelettes were made to order. Their restaurant on the beach serves amazing food also, but the prices are a little high for Mexico. I love the fact that the Oxxo convenience store is across the street and the Walmart is a couple blocks away. You are not allowed to bring food in your room, so you must conceal it in another bag. :) We had 3 children with us, so we always needed snacks on hand and of course water and drinks. All of the staff at the Grand Hotel are amazing! We cancelled our 2 day reservation at another resort in Acapulco, one considered to be «the best», because we just always love the Grand Hotel!
