I love churros rellenos, eapecially with cajeta(goat milk caramel) or lechera(condensed milk). Unfortunately, these churros were not fresh. Additionally, they were particularly dense, an not even hollow down the center. Rather the employee seemeingly cut a long slice down one edge in which to messily stuff my cajeta. Most of the sauce ended up at the bottom of the plastic bag that they gave it to me in. When I want a churro, I want something warm, light, and with the potential to be filled. This was none of those.

Crepes and churros together are a great concept and one that I fully support. However, this fell a little short of my expectations. We stopped here to grab churros rellenos after dinner for dessert– filled with lechera for me and cajeta for my husband. The churros were big and filled and presented in a plastic bag, which I appreciate given how sticky they can get. But, the churros weren’t fresh — not hot at all which is what I always hope for in a churro. They weren’t bad, but they were a bit dense and chewy. I’d still get one if I really wanted a churro but I might get some ice cream instead next time I’m just looking for dessert. I didn’t try a crêpe so I can’t speak to that at all! Might be fantastic
