The outside is charming with a whimsical mural painted by the owners’ talented daughter. Patricia and Luis are welcoming and charming. There is a small dining area inside but continue through past the kitchen and enjoy the private garden(5 tables) for your meal. Breakfast, brunch and lunch all are available during their open hours. Mexican and«Norte Americano» favorites are on one menu. Everything we tried was very good but the House Specialty is the burgers and fries. The fries are distinctive… crispy with a mildly spicy seasoning dusted on(eat your heart out, McDonald’s!) The burgers are cooked fresh, to taste. If available the day you visit, Luis has a «Special» version with a local cream cheese cooked *inside* the patty. No rush on time, exquisite food, good prices, and utterly charming hosts. English is spoken but Patricia will help correct you Spanish pronunciation if you ask her nicely. Don’t miss this cool spot right beside the village square.
