We had a wonderful evening at this Spanish tapas restaurant. A little off the beaten path, at about 12 blocks from the plaza in Ajijic. Our group of 4 went for the «tapas promotion,» offering all 12 tapas plates for the table at 160 pesos per person. Very authentic tortilla espanola and gambas al ajillo (garlic shrimp). The seafood selection was phenomenal– all seasoned and cooked well. Well worth every penny!

This restaurant is outstanding. Spanish food from Alicante offers mediterranean flavors with a flare, and their Spanish wines to accompany them are truly delightful. The chef welcomes you into his restaurant with warmth; the service is excellent as well.
In my opinion Tabarka is #1. All dishes are cooked to perfection, delicious!!!

Una excelente opción en Ajijic para los amantes de la comida española, probamos tortilla española y paella de mariscos, como bebida una sangría deliciosa. Cuentan con una promoción de $ 200 pesos y te llevan gran variedad de tapas y vino tinto.
El restaurante es agradable, rodeado de naturaleza y excelente servicio; los platillos son preparados en el momento ¡es importante recordarlo!
