Came to this family run joint on the second Saturday evening in March during a weeklong vacation in Bucerias. It was on the recommendation of our taxi driver, when I asked for authentic local places. It looks like this place is famous for its posole, which unfortunately we didn’t order– rather we shared an order of the tacos. It was certainly good, but the constant dust and noise coming in from the nearby highway diminished our experience. And they don’t serve alcohol(hey, don’t judge… we were on vacation :) The plus side is that it was quite cheap– 102 pesos for our plate of tacos, chips/salsa(warning, not homemade!), and some non-alchy beverages. That was about $ 8. Would definitely return for another try next time in Bucerias, this time for the posole. The ambiance reminded me of the mom n pop joints I’ve seen all over the world, and I loved that its a locals go to spot.
