This was a great experience. We signed up for the snorkel, whale watching with VIP option(which it seemed everyone did because it was only 10 $ extra dollars). Check in at their bar and can relax with a few drinks before setting sail. The boat was beautiful and huge for a catamaran. They immediately brought out a variety of drinks and were very on top of keeping it full the whole time. The captan was brilliant at spotting whales and warning everyone to be ready to spot the next. Then sailed to a cove to check out a reef close to a beach. The reef had minimal creatures to check out but still very cool for about 45 minutes. When you came back they were prepared with BBQ which was definitely decent. As we headed back they started playing fun dancing songs that everyone knows the moves to. Overall, this was probably our favorite part of our trip in Mexico. Staff was awesome and fun and everyone had a blast.

I tried to book the Sunset Jazz cruise with a different company before arriving to Cabo but they were booked for the evening. I found and read reviews for the Eco cat online and they had good reviews so we found a stand near the marina and got a good deal for $ 50 each which included the food. I wasn’t big into the food they are steak kabobs and the steak was overcooked. Save the $ 10 and take the cruise and dine in the marina. We arrived to the Eco cat bar early and had a surprisingly good margarita as we watched guys on a fishing boat feed a sea lion in the marina. The boat is a large catamaran and there was plenty of room for people. We sat up front near the nets which is more exciting for me. The views of Lands End Arch at sunset is beautiful. Just being out at sea during sunset was amazing. The music they play is good too a little bit of everything Abba, Pretenders, and perfect for any age group. People seemed to be a little older on this cruise. They serve drinks throughout the entire cruise margaritas, corona and mixed drinks. The reason I wanted to book on the Jazz cruise is because they offer premium wines and this company charges for wine. As we rounded past the arch we saw whales in the distance. Then later we saw about 5 –6 more whales with a baby whale. It was pretty cool to see them and the tour felt more like a whale watch tour instead of a sailing tour. They never let the main sail out just motored along with the front sail. I love being on the water and I would have loved to experience more of a sailing tour but the boat was great and I enjoyed it.

On a recent trip to Cabo we took the sunset cruise with Eco Cat. We chose the VIP option that came with dinner and unlimited drinks(woot!) and I can highly recommend it. The whole thing operates out of the Eco Bar right in the Marina and that will be your meeting point for the cruise as well. We met there at 5:30 pm and checked in and then went onto the boat at about 6:00 pm. We were lucky we had a relatively small group of people, so there was plenty of space and a more intimate flair. You will spend about 2 – 2.5 hours on the water, sailing around the arches and right in front of Medano Beach and witnessing the sun go down. It’s stunning! Since Cabo is party territory, the staff made sure to never let our glasses get empty which was appreciated and attributed to me leaving the boat pretty toasty. The BBQ dinner that came with the cruise was a nice idea and the kebabs offered(chicken, steak or fish) were decent but the rest of the food(salad, fajitas, spaghetti, mashed potatoes) did not look or taste very appealing. But who the fuck cares, you’re on a boat, drunk, dancing to the cupid shuffle and having a ball! For about $ 60 bucks I thought this was a pretty fair deal and I will most definitely be back during my next Cabo visit. Ahoy!

Great tour. We did the brunch snorkel tour. It was a blast. The staff was professional, the crew was attentive and the passenger load was just right for us. They accommodated our young kids really well. They took us to the Playa Santa Maria cove where schools of beautiful fish were within touch as I snorkel. The brunch was great and all the beverages were included.

My girlfriend’s and I did the VIP Eco Cat sunset tour on our recent trip to Cabo. It was approximately $ 60 per person and included a buffet dinner and unlimited drinks. The buffet dinner included spaghetti, mashed potatoes, fajitas, rice, and BBQ skewers. It was quite the smörgåsbord of food but it was fairly tasty. The boat was large and while there were a lot of people, everyone had places to sit. The crew was friendly and the service was prompt.
