Described in the brochure as: «Enjoy a Peaceful Ride through the Baja Desert. Explore our magnificent Cactus with 500 years and Wildlife.» When we first arrived, it was looking pretty blanco basura to us adults — under the freeway, by a dilapidated bull ring, shanty structures. But the kids loved it — horses! Llamas! A skinny dog that looked a lot like the one from the Simpsons. The horses looked a little on the thin-side, but not too bad. So we saddled up and off we went. First part of the ride, by the freeway, through the river bed, and w/view of Walmart, wasn’t so pleasant. It’s essentially right behind Pueblo Bonito Rose; one of the few big undeveloped expanses near downtown. But, then we did actually get into the Baja desert, and it was a very pretty desert landscape, and peaceful. There were giant cactus, flowering plants, trees, and definitely some wildlife — saw eagles, hawks, an egret, hundreds of colorful butterflies, and horses from other ranches grazing along the way. We got to trot, and even lope, a few times(he called it galloping, but it wasn’t an outright gallop). Our guide Benito«Benny,» was extremely good and helpful. We had 2 adults, and 2 kids, age 9 and 11, who have ridden a couple dozen times, but one was on a pretty spunky horse, and he helped her gain control a couple times. Afterward, got to see their«famous» burro LoLo drink a pretend cerveza from a beer bottle. Seemed like a fitting end to the experience. Overall, I think if you go in with the appropriate expectations, it can be an enjoyable desert ride
