This place is awesome!!! As you walk through the path leading you to the restaurant, you see a number of cool and fun signs and by then you would have already gauged the restaurant vibe. One of my favorites is «if you have a reservation, you’ve reached the wrong place». The restaurant has some of the best views of the ocean. I loved the vibe of this restaurant — easy going and funky. Not so much child-friendly for a large number of reasons. We started with a piña colada, and then ordered a couple of appetizers — beef nachos and jalapeño poppers. The piña colada was excellent. Jalapeño poppers were delicious with generous amount of cheese and jalapeño. Beef nachos were exceptionally good, the beef was juicy and tasty. The nachos had the right amount of cheese. They were also refilling our complimentary nachos and salsa. Fun ambiance, although I’d be a little hesitant to take my kiddo there. Great food. Amicable service. Gorgeous ocean views. Highly recommend!

The view here is why this review received 2 stars because everything else was sub par at best. The exchange rate was 12 pesos to a dollar and the drinks were not worth it. The reggae bar is awesome, and so is he margarita Shack down the road open 25 hours a day!

Stopped by after renting a jeep and riding around the island. Gorgeous views and extremely casual atmosphere. Felt good to sip a piña colada and feel the sand between my toes. Crowd was a little rough, but we felt Safe.

Stopped in for lunch on the way to San Gervasio at the recommendation of several tourists from Houston who swear by this place. The view is undeniably one of the best on the island, as the place is nestled high on a cliff above the Caribbean. Drinks are large, strong, and reasonably priced. The stairs can be a bit difficult to climb back down after a few drinks though, as they’re pretty steep and a little crooked. Guac was awesome, chicken quesadillas so-so. There are a few resident dogs that are super friendly, but be warned – the parrot will mock you and he has judgey eyes. Watch out for the local vendors who set up shop right outside the restaurant, as they will follow you in and don’t really hear«no» the first three times you explain that you have no use for a cricket woven out of palm grass. All in all would visit again.

I went with the local beer a sol. But my girlfriend got a piña colada that tasted watered down. But hunny the beef nachos were the best i had in life. Tender marinated chucks of steak. Mmm mmm

Love this bar! Definitely geared towards the adults.(Hint: make nice with the staff and ask to see«the book») AMAZING views with very STRONG drinks! Didn’t get a chance to try any of their food but others in my group said it was delicious! Definitely have to check this place out again on my next visit.

We went to Coconuts during our cruise. One in a million view of the ocean and cliffs. Excellent food and drinks. Unique décor. Would definitely visit again.

Oh Coconuts… you are my favorite spot to visit on the Island. I love how you are far enough away from the main strip which detours some of the tourists. I love the strong drinks, the amazing views and servers who know how to have a good time. Coconuts is a great place to visit while on the island. The food is decent, your typical tacos and fajitas… chips and fresh guacamole. We were able to order fajitas and brought our own low carb tortillas. The scene is very adult friendly, I am not sure I would call this a family location but hey… to each their own. They have cats and dogs wandering through the bar, aligators, turtles and birds, cameleons surround the location. Old shirts, bras and panties adorn the palm hatch roof. If you get friendly with the servers you can ask to see the photo albums that show all the ladies having a fantastic(one too many margaritas) time.

I very much enjoyed coconuts! From the super strong yet tasty margarita & banana mama to the best chicken tacos I’ve ever had to the freshly seasoned shrimp ceviche to the beautiful view. The music is upbeat and they have their own collection of dogs, cats, chickens and tropical birds. Oh and they have the tastiest fresh salsa have ever had. Love love love this place and would totally come back if and when I’m back in Cozumel.

View is spectacular. Perched on a little outcropping along the western, undeveloped side of Cozumel. Caged(small) crocodile on premises as well as some parrots. Food is average, prices are inflated. Don’t bother asking to buy ice.

We were taken here by a local friend — she(she’s a chef) highly recommended it. It was pretty darn good. The décor makes you feel relaxed and ready for a good time. The views are amazing, too. I noticed some reviews about not good for little kids. Well, we took our toddler and there were no issues. Things may have changed — we got lucky. I don’t know. But we had a nice relaxing meal and headed back to the other side of the island for more touristy stuff.

Funny place. Good service and decent food. It is kind of remote so the bathrooms are a little gross. Not a place for young kids!!. Women rake off their bras to get free drinks or just get in their boob flashing albums.

This is the place to get your lunch on in Cozumel! Go, greengos! Seriously, this place is made for American dudes like me. The large bar rests under a giant thatch palapa. Tables are scattered around the sandy cliff overlooking the amazeballs eastern Cozumel shore with fan palms growing up to your armpits around you. They play music for white American dudes like me: Tom Petty, Talking Heads, Billie Squire and on to Ozzy and Blue Oyster Cult. Thank you. The food is delicious. Enjoy your lunch in Mexico! My friends tell me this is the place where cruise ship employees go for an afternoon. Ps: Their website says they feature«Ice Cold Beers», «Great Music» and«American Style Bathrooms» What the H is that? I don’t have to squat over a hole in the ground? There’s a toilet, but no bidet?
