Twice on our trip we’ve been here. Once for hot cappuccino and it was fabulously smooth and a nice roast. Once for lunch and frappé which was amazing food with large portion and good value and taste. Highly recommend this for a break from the bustle and to get some wifi to plane next steps

Fresh baked everything! Seriously where do you find fresh baked items these days? Pies, cakes, cinnamon rolls, quiche. What else do I have to say?

Great wifi connection. Friendly staff & costumes(took 2 staff & one local customer to translate for me). They will adjust menu items to make them vegetarian. Kids enjoyed the hot cakes & their dessert/pastry selection was fabulous. It can be chilly with the a/c going full blast, which may appeal to some. For folks you run cold, though, bring a sweater. We highly recommend it.

Nice mexican café with good coffee and deliscious cakes! AC and quiet, which was a good change when coming from the busy and hot streets!

I’m attempting to update the location, but I have to wait for Unilocal to approve it. As Raina said, the original address is wrong! El Coffee Cozumel is located on Calle 3 right off of Avenue Rafael E Melgar(the road next to the ocean). The lobster shack and gloss boutique are across the street from here and Pizza Hut is next door. There is a burgundy awning above the windows of the café, no large sign, just a small sign on the door. They have wifi! The ladies working here are great and very helpful. I had a caramel latte and a bagel. They have decent options in terms of breakfast food, so this is a good spot if you want a cute, quiet place for your morning coffee. :) ps…bring cash!

I don’t know who added the address, but it was completely wrong! It’s actually located on Calle 3 and Ave Rafeal E Melgar near a Lobster Shack and Gloss Boutique. As someone who can’t drink regular milk, I was really thankful to find a place that had almond milk on hand. Their lattes are delicious! I highly recommend their freshly made pastries or if you feel like eating breakfast try the egg in a hole or chiliquiles. The service here is great and the décor is quite charming.

This should be your go-to place for coffee on Cozumel. Not only are the coffee, lattes, Mexican hot chocolate, mochas, and espresso delicious but their baked good cannot be beat. I had an absolutely massive slice of banana bread today and was told not to even try the carrot cake until I was ready to crave it daily. Considering my intense love of carrot cake, I’m taking this advice seriously. I was talking with someone the other day who visits daily each time he’s on Cozumel just for their pie. El Coffee, or «The Bean» as some people call it for reasons unknown to me, also serves delicious breakfast well into the day(I recently went at 3:30). I can personally recommend the huevos rancheros and omelettes. This is as close to «brunch» as I have gotten without hurdling myself into a tourist trap. I don’t know if it’s possible to try all of the baked goods at El Coffee, but I have decided to make it my personal mission.
