This winery had some delicious wines. The tastings are offered as packages with preselected wine combinations, prices are comparable to other higher end wineries in the area. The tastings include a tour through their wine making area, including the cellar downstairs which houses their wine-filled barrels. The tour ends in a private room for each group that is tasting to have their wine tastings. The pours were generous and our server was knowledgeable as well as very pleasant to chat with. We finished our last pour on the patio outside to enjoy the weather and lovely surroundings. Since we enjoyed the wines so much, we purchased a few bottles to take home and enjoy at a later date. A definite must do if it’s your first time visiting the Valle de Guadalupe.

This was my favorite of all of the wineries we visited in the Valle. Not just because the wines were great, although they were — they even have a Cabernet, which I learned is an unusual wine to find in the area. Apparently, Mexican palates aren’t accustomed to Cabs. No, what made it truly special was that our tasting also included a tour and a lesson about wines and how to drink them. The guy who did our tasting with us(can’t recall his name, unfortunately, otherwise I’d give him a shout-out) instructed us on several ways we could drink wine and even corrected the way I was holding my glass. I always suspected I held the glass wrong, but no one ever told me! Anyway, everyone working here was super-friendly. This is definitely a winery you shouldn’t miss.

This winery is just down the road from Casta and it’s a little off the beaten path. you’ll more likely to find this winery if you come with locals or on a wine tour. we had the pleasure of having a pretty intimate tasting session with Sylvia who is absolutely FANTASTIC! when she is describing the wine, she’s so passionate about it that it sounds like she’s making love to the wine! LOL no seriously, every wine she poured, she had food pairing recommendations, the dish and every ingredient she would put into the dish, and the flavor it would bring out from the wine! She’s truly extraordinary! Lots of wine to choose from and they are all delicious! They have a beautiful gift shop and restaurant. The property is big! Lots of room for special events.
