We ate here based on reviews from a different site and were not disappointed. It was a bit strange since it was Christmas Eve(lunch) and the place was empty except for us and one other party, but food and service were great. The appetizers were fantastic, and the entrees very good to excellent. Price-wise, it’s high by local standards but cheap by U.S. standards. They did have an English menu and the waiter spoke perfectly adequate English, although I wouldn’t have trouble with a Spanish menu. Also, the appetizers are quite large, you won’t need as many as you think. As others have pointed out, this is about a mile from the cruise terminal, but cabs in Ensenada are not too costly. Well worth the trip.

I went here on Sunday 7÷21÷14. It was pretty empty which guaranteed a parking lot and speedy service. I was not wrong. The waiter was very attentive and the margaritas were delicious(and not watered down). The restaurant was also very large and pleasant with traditional Mexican decorations. The shrimp was very tasty, and the plates are presented with a little paper Italian flag on top which made them charming to the eye. The Tres Leches cake was DELICIOUS, and the Mexican coffee with flambeed tequila was fun to watch. Unfortunately, the restaurant is a little too far inland for tourists coming from the cruise ships on foot. But if you have a car or can take a taxi or bus, the trip is definitely worth it.

This is been a very nice dining experience. The atmospheres relaxed it is a beautifully stained-glass building and everyone that I know who eats here really does enjoy the food. I found the steak brochettes very tasty and the fish and everything that I’ve ordered has been excellent.
