Walking down the Main tourist street In Ensenada you don’t expect to find a delightful seafood/​oyster bar. Amazingly fresh shellfish and made to order ceviche combined with tap beer and delicious Baja wines for an unbelievably low price. We easily coulée been in San Francisco or Seattle paying triple prices. The chowder was extraordinary with lots of clams. The staff was friendly and engaging. Don’t miss your chance!

Freshest variety of Raw Oysters, Clams and Abalone. They claim to buy them in the morning straight from the fishermen and on to your plate. We had a few Pismo and Chocolata clams prepared with all the fixings. An assortment of dipping sauces. They were great. We couldn’t stop there so we ordered up some oysters to finish and of course a few Coronas to top the experience. The staff was great, especially Memo. If your ever in town this is a must. Very reasonably priced. Loved it!!!

Fuck yes!!! Eat here if you like excellent service and superb locally farmed oysters, clams and wine. So fresh, clean and friendly. Do it. Now.

If you don’t want the whistle blowing this is the place! Great service and great food cooked by Roberto. We will defiantly be back! Foodie favorite.

I must say that I always look forward to finding a place that that has amazing delicious food combined with fantastic service and great people.
As Mexican cuisine continues to evolve this restaurant is leading the way. The fish is FRESH and unlike many places it stands alone on the freshness.
You must have this experience.

If it were possible, I’d give six or ten stars! I found this new and absolutely adorable restaurant on Unilocal!My boyfriend loves Oysters, so I figured this would be a fun place to try based on the previous Unilocal reviews. Boy am I glad I did!
The restaurant is long and thin. There is a bar top with about 12 stools and 5 total tables. The décor was very relaxing, it reminds you of walking down a Fishman boardwalk with blue accents and even a ceiling with cloud and Lighthouse fixtures! The use of crates that were well decorated make everything come together with a very clean finish. If you want a relaxed and calm oasis in the middle of the hassle and bustle city outside, you’ll love it here!
The food was some of the best that I’ve ever had when traveling. I started off with the mussels. They were Steamed perfectly and a very nice portion. The broth at the bottom was fantastic. It was savory and complemented the mussels. I nearly drank the broth. My boyfriend had the oysters and said they were extremely fresh. They were cleaned well. He also enjoyed a bowl of the clam chowder before the main courses. According to his description, it was closer to a new england style, but it wasn’t as thick. If we were to guess, they didn’t use as much cream or potato in the broth, which made it more savory and flavorful rather than thick. Inside of the chowder were both mussels and generous portions of clam.
As our main courses, we both had the Fish of the Day. The day we went it was Yellowfish (that was seared perfectly) served with a light salad that did not take away from the excellent flavor of the fish. I haven’t had fish seared this perfectly in a very long time. The chef (which may also be the owner, I forgot to ask) really does an excellent job pairing his fish as well as picking of fresh ingredients. Next visit I’ll definitely be trying to seared albacore.
We learned the ingredients are purchased fresh every day, which really comes through in their food. While we did not get the pasta dishes or ceviche, others fining seemed to enjoy theirs!
This establishment is also family friendly, so bring everyone you know!

This is a charming seafood/​raw bar with a variety of local wines and beer on tap. Fresh oysters, chowder and fresh bread, mussels, clams, ceviche and more. Very fresh and delicious! — and the proprietors (Memo, Angel & Roberto) and staff are happy to welcome you. Definitely worth checking out!!!

There’s a brand new place on the strip in Ensenada, and it’s off the chart good! They have an incredible set of fresh catch-​of-​the-​day local seafood that you must eat. I’ve been there a few times, and have enjoyed the oysters, sashimi, clam chowder, and ceviche — and I plan to return several more times to try the rest.
In addition to the local food, they have a great selection of local wines from the Valle de Guadalupe and craft beers from the area. This is a must stop if you’re in town visiting from Los Angeles or San Diego, in Ensenada for the Rosarito bike ride, or just hopped on a Carnival Cruise ship in Long Beach.
