Mr. Pampas

I absolutely loved this place ! The price is great, for all the cuts of meat you are getting. it was about 300 pesos for men, which is around 17 dollars and 290 for women but not sure. It come with a full salad bar, that has not just salads but rice, beans and even desserts like platanos Frito’s, and pudding. The cuts of meat were amazing, every cut was delicious and tender. My favorite was probably the lamb leg and the octopus (which was very soft and tender to be octopus). Everyone was helpful in explaining what each cut was. To finish a perfect dinner we ordered ice cream, which is not included but a most try! The ice cream is served in the ice cream of choice, example I ordered a corn flavored one and they brought out a frozen corn husk full with ice cream. I loved it, and can’t wait to come back. Beats Fogo de Chaó by a long shot.

We have visited this restaurant twice. Both times the food was very tasty. There’s always lots of people and the food on the buffet bar disappears quickly, but the waiters try their best to keep up. Drinks are good too and price is reasonable. My only complaint was that I wanted crepes for desert and the portable stove wasn’t working. Waited about 15 minutes before the waiter gave up and asked me if I wanted something else.

I just wanna say thank you to pampas for always being good to me from Las Vegas to ensenada there menu stays the same and quality of food is the best me and my wife had dinner this past weekend and ooo man we where stuffed I really like there salad bar and there great selection of meats definetly gonna keep recommending people to pampas great resturaunt and great customer service thank you so much.

Great Brazilian type steakhouse where they come around with different meats. They had a pasta bar too which was good. Good service and reasonable prices. Will come back.

Some of the best meats we have ever tasted. Our favorite was most definitely picanha, it just melts in your mouth with heavenly taste.
The buffet is well stocked with delicious salads. Our favorite was grilled green peppers with some kind of dressing and tuna salad.
We also kept the margaritas going, and they were fantastic, not watered down BS they serve as tourist traps.
The place was packed on Monday night in stark contrast with 99% of restaurants I n Ensenada that are all completely empty. I guess locals figured this one out.
BTW total bill for two adults who stuffed themselves with quality meat and consumed 5 margaritas was $ 43. It doesn’t get better than this.

Their meat is great and the service is impeccable! Better than some of the steak houses we have in Portland. The buffet bar is well stocked and offers a variety of food to compliment the meat. As long as the dial is on green, they will keep bringing you a variety of different meat to try. One of my favorites? The grilled pineapple with cinnamon and sugar. It is decadent!

After 7pm M-​F it is 200 pesos ALL YOU CAN EAT! ($ 12.00)
This place is awesome! Even if they only offered their salad bar it would be a deal.

I’ve eaten at lots of US churrascarias and one in Sao Paulo Brazil.
Mr. Pampas ranks right up there with one of the best ones I’ve been to. And to have a rather gigantic lunch (until 7 PM) for 200 pesos for men (less for women and kids) you have one heck of a deal. At the time I visited (⁴⁄₁₅) that was under $ 13 per person. Other reviewers might have said that $ 25 a person (more of their peak-​season pricing) would be to expensive, but I beg to differ.
Take a look at the buffet pictures and tell me that this is not enough all by itself. Fresh fruits, cheeses, salads, and much more await you. BUT, if you want/​crave meat, they have it, and don’t seem to care if your table flag is Green (Go, give me more) or Red (Not ready).
While not every cut was the moist and tender, like the chicken cuts, the most successful were the beef cuts. We also liked the grilled cinnamon pineapple and most of what was offered. but honestly, you will be stuffed to the gills (unless you are a vegan/​vegetarian – but even then you would still have lots of choices).
By all means, you MUST try the best of the best: the C-​Shaped Picanha (pronounced pee-​Con-​ya) which is a «cap of top sirloin» or «rump cap». In every churrascaria, this is THE signature barbeque dish and should not be missed.
Service was very good and the vast selections made this a fantastic value that would normally be $ 35 – 65 per person in the US.
We will return later this year on our cruise stop-​over at (the otherwise forgettable) obligatory stop at Ensenada.

I can’t say enough about this gem. The service is impeccable. Everything on the buffet table was fresh and delicious. As long as your dial is green, the meats come by at a very fast pace. The best part for me is you can ask for as much or as little as you want. Works out great if you are trying something new to just get a small piece until you know if you like it or not. Sweat breads is one example. I actually tried it and would recommend you to try it too. Excellent dessert selections. We were lucky enough to have live music during our meal making for excellent ambiance. If you only have time for one nice meal, you should definitely consider Mr. Pampas.

Mr. Pampas has a very nice atmosphere and is incredibly affordable, offering basically a low-​key Texas de Brazil experience for a fraction of the cost. The establishment was clean and I liked everything I tried! I’d definitely recommend it!
