The Westin

Este es de los hoteles por la Expo que me gustan, desde el exterior hasta el interior.
La recepción es muy amplia, y son atentos a tus dudas y necesidades, aunque la sala o sillones se quedan cortos.
Tiene su propio starbucks junto a recepción.
Las habitaciones son muy cómodas, desde la distribución de los espacios hasta el colchón y la almohada.
Quizá la luz es muy tenue o cálida, y a mi gusto prefiero la luz blanca.
El baño tiene un tocador bastante amplio así como un gran espejo, y la ducha también es amplia, no pasa lo mismo con el área de wc, que es un poco más compacta.
La ubicación es perfecta si vas a la Expo o tienes algún evento cerca, pero si vienes a conocer la ciudad o de turista, el lugar queda alejado de las zonas más interesantes de la ciudad.

Stayed at the Westin for a business trip. The service was fabulous. From check in to check out. I felt safe and comfortable the entire time I was there.
My only let down was the dinner menu. Since my schedule was all work and no play it would’ve been nice to get some authentic Mexican cuisine for dinner. I understand many different nationalities gather here for business but a few options would be preferable.
If ever I have to come back for work I will stay at the Westin if possible.

Great service for corporate clients. Concierge and account manager made sure all or needs were met. Excellent service and beautiful rooms.

I’m already paying enough money to stay in this corporate and expensive hotel, and still, this hotel charges you for EVERY little thing! I do not appreciate having to pay for wifi. And I also don’t appreciate the fact that the «complimentary» breakfast is actually NOT complimentary if more than two people eat. Yes, even if you reserve a room for four people, they will charge you if more than two people eat. And they won’t tell you they’re charging you until you’re walking out of the restaurant.
Even the Holiday Inn has free wifi and complimentary breakfast!
My family originally had booked this hotel for five nights, but we left after the first night.

This is a typical Westin in an urban location, stunningly sophisticated, beautiful, and use the valet because there is no parking.
We had a room on a high SPG-​elite floor, floor-​to-​ceiling glass wall facing the city. Not much to look at in Guadalajara, obviously, but it was nice.
Had a decent dinner & drink in the restaurant on-​site, then got some sleep, had an all-​night flight to Mexico.
Note… the «complimentary WifI» as listed in the SPG website, isn’t, you pay for it… might be complimentary somewhere, but not in the rooms.

Surpasses even Westin-​level service. Best atmosphere, and hands-​down, the best bathroom for business travel EVER!
