Our driver recommended this restaurant to me and my 6 Mexican co-workers. We wanted to have Cabritos(baby goat) since we were in Monterrey for the day. He lied– it wasn’t on the way to the airport. But it was really good! Service was great– our tortilla’s were replenished or replaced throughout the meal and we never waited for anything. We split several appetizers: guacamole(freshly made but needed salt) served with onion and tomato, queso(excellent warm and gooey), carnes secha(dried beef that the Mexicans loved). The baby goat came on a platter with some lettuce, tomatoes and onion. It also included a soup– there were two choices. I got the frijoles charros(soup) and it was flavorful. The other option was a meat soup. They said it was good. I wanted to order more! The Cabritos(baby goat) was delicious. It was crunchy on the outside and moist on the I side. I ordered the leg. Others go different parts. The atmosphere was casual. There was a big TV on showing the World Cup game. It was bright. The restrooms were clean and had a shared sink for men and women. The goat are shown in the window before entering. I would come back here again.
