Pita Amore

Muy delicioso! This place is a true hidden treasure. I don’t even know if the name of the restaurant is anywhere conspicuous because I started referring to it as the «Sol» restaurant (based on it’s protruding lit sign showcasing the brand of beer). The only reason we even knew about it is because we stayed at the Hotel Isleno next door and passed it every time we went to the town square. After seeing it overflowing with happy vacationers night after night, we knew we had to give it a try.
We stopped by after a snorkeling trip for a much-​needed refueling. As for what to eat, I actually can’t remember what I ordered, but it involved a pita and meat, and it was SO GOOD. Honestly though, I don’t think you can go wrong with any of the menu choices, especially considering how cheap everything is.

‘Pita’ sounds like an unusual star for a restaurant but it’s the combination toppings that really make it work. The ‘classic’ was one of the best things I ate on my 2-​week holiday. Just go.

We still talk about these pitas from 2011. Even if you eat delicious authentic Mexican every other meal — make sure you don’t miss this spot when you are in Isla. I’ll be back in August and it will be a highlight of the trip.

We just got home from Isla. We only had the flan at pita amore but it was amazing, large portion too. Unfortunately we were leaving the next morning so we didn’t have a chance to taste the pitas but a few people sitting inside swore it was the best meal on the island. Can’t wait to try when we return.

This place is the best! Everytime I come to Isla I have one everyday sometimes 2x! A must visit spot for anyone visiting Isla!

Las mejores pitas que he comido arraundeguorl. Ricas con escándalo. Un local piola con mapas de nueva york en las paredes, unas pocas mesas, y 4 opciones de tacos: de carne, de pollo, uno picante y un vegetariano. Todos ricos.
