Everything, from our initial greeting to the time we left, was thoroughly enjoyable. The service was prompt and courteous, and the food was tremendous. The molcajete for two was phenomenal! It was a mixture of shrimp, beef, and chicken, with onions, mushrooms, bell peppers, and melted Gouda cheese, served with fresh, warm corn tortillas. This dish was about $ 13.00US at the current rate of exchange. BTW, the dish is for at least two people: we are both big eaters, and we were barely able to finish it(this may have also had something to do with us stuffing ourselves on the fresh tortilla chips and vegetable salsa(I likened it to Mexican bruschetta… ¡muy delicioso!) beforehand. For those who drink, I understand they serve free margaritas. We will be moving to the area in several months, and we intend to become regulars here.

We visit this restaurant at least once a visit when we are in town. Very good food but we go mainly to get the Molcajete which they do better than anywhere else around. This is a regional specialty not to be missed.
