This is a «don’t miss» if you’re at Vidanta Vallarta. Even if you’re not staying at Vidanta, call them up, see if you can get in and make the trip ~ 15 mins north of PV airport. The view is spectacular, the décor is divine, it never feels crowded, even when full and the service is «rock star». Fabulous, authentic French cuisine is served by waiters dressed in black & white, from fabulous little tea carts — btw, the table-side preparation is outstanding(crepes suzette — simply must try, but maybe share with a friend!). When you reserve, ask to be seated with Ernesto — he is personable, friendly and professional(and very patient!), you will be well looked after. Spoiled even! And if you wait until you get there, you might miss out, so request in advance. We tried the duck confit, coq au vin, coquille st jacques, veal bourgeois and rack of lamb(yes, we went 3 times in 2 weeks!). For appetizers, we tried escalopes of duck foie gras, french onion soup, escargots, chèvre chaud salad and salad lyonnaise. Desserts — in addition to the previously mentioned crepes suzette, we had chocolate soufflé and grand marinier soufflé. The wine list is not extensive but has a few gems included. Overall, well worth trying!

Poor service, leadership apathetic to customer feedback. Food very nice, no one in charge, guests are not very important, employees not a team, so fend for yourself. Seven friends universally expected a high end dining experience, and would’ve been more happy elsewhere, anywhere.
