Looks like your typical Walmart, with some Mexican products. It’s big and very clean. A little cluttered but nothing too bad. You can exchange money here for a good rate, just remember to bring your passport, they won’t take drivers license. You can also pay in US dollars(like anywhere in Cabo) and ask them to give you back in Pesos if you forgot your passport… Most employees speak english in case you need help.

Very convenient to have a Walmart across the street to your hotel in Cabo… NOT very convenient that they don’t have NyQuil when you get sick :( However, snacks, alcohol, and souvenirs can all be purchased here. I purchased some pills for a cold I had developed… only to get all the way back to the hotel and realize there were no pills inside the package. Luckily, the manager was helpful and allowed me to get the actual pills I needed. Overall, a pretty clean and decent store for anything you may need… unless you need NyQuil.

Stopped here to buy a couple of cases of water, snacks and liquor. You will save lots of pesos versus your hotel. Very similar setup to Walmart in the states.

In the states, I’ll avoid Walmart as much as possible because all the freaks go to Walmart。 The Walmart in Cabo was quite attractive and welcoming。 Tons of fresh fruits/vegetables and treats for your taste buds。 A lot of different snacks you don’t get in the states and that’s probably due to the nutritional facts。。。 hahaha。 During our stay, we probably went to Walmart about times to purchase water / beers / instant noodles / frozen fruits for the margaritas and etc。 There’s a really nice food court located that include Mexican to Sushi。 Really good food for a food court。。。。

Walmart had far better produce than Mega, at least when i visited. The avocados were perfect, the cilantro was nice and green, and there were a ton of different peppers, onions, and other Mexican-native produce to choose from. I was actually quite pleased with the experience, especially considering how I avoid Walmart in the USA.
