Hacienda Xcanatún

One of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed in. The hotel is a former XIX century hacienda in the middle of the jungle (15 mins from downtown Mérida).
It has only 18 suites divided in three different buildings, surrounded by gardens and an impressive jungle.
The rooms are luxurious and VERY spacious. The bathroom is huge!!! My wife and I loved to spend time in our room as it was very comfortable and nicely decorated.
Food is AMAZING! The restaurant is not only beautiful and has great views to the gardens. The menu is a mix of Yucatán, Mexican and International food. All dishes I tried were superb! Try the Ceviche Don Pedro.
Last but not least, people are super friendly!

Esta hermosa y antigua Hacienda Henequenera data del siglo XVIII, fué restaurada y transformada en una bello, exclusivo y lujoso Hotel y está más que espectacular.
Su dueña, Doña Cristina, quien personalmente atiende a sus huéspedes siempre se esmera y cuida hasta el último detalle, y me consta, ya que en este Hotel solo utilizan lo mejor.
Ella me contactó una vez para comprarme unas hamacas lindisimas que yo estuve vendiendo en una época, y posteriormente me volvió a llamar para solicitarme una línea de productos orgánicos, biodegradables y concentrados de limpieza que yo manejo, de óptima calidad y es lo que usan exclusivamente para el aseo y la lavandería. Esto solo habla de excelencia total.
Sus áreas verdes son un placer a la vista y un relax total.
Su restaurante, Casa de Piedra, un manjar. Y si quieres desayunar, comer o cenar, a lo grande, es aquí el mejor lugar. Adentro o al aire libre en su terraza espectacular.
Las habitaciones son de lo mas lindas que te puedas imaginar, los edredones y las camas, la decoración, los detalles, impecables.
Es todo un éxtasis total.
