Pamplona Steak House

Al fin, un nuevo lugar para comer una buena sopa de cebolla. Aunque la especialidad del lugar son los cortes, considero que no son la gran cosa, digamos que no son nada que no puedas encontrar en otro steak house.
Pero antes de que llegara mi corte me quise arriesgar a probar la sopa de cebolla (como casi siempre en lugares donde la ofrecen) y vaya que me lleve una agradable sorpresa. Te la sirven recién gratinado el queso que hasta cuando llega a tu mesa lo escuchas, es espesa (como me gusta), el pan no está todo deshecho y el sazón es perfecto, en verdad disfrute muchísimo comiendo mi sopa, la cantidad es perfecta como entrada y es deliciosa así que ¡no la compartas! Jajaja. El menú es variado tiene pastas, ensaladas, comida del mar y cortes; para estos tienes a escoger dos guarniciones de las cuales destacan el arroz cubano y el fetuccini poblano. Si te queda espacio para un postre, prueba el flan con queso de bola igual no es la maravilla pero esta rico.
En general la comida está bien, pero caso aparte es el servicio que es de primera, los meseros están muy atentos sin ser incómodos. También la ambientación y el mobiliario son destacables, se esmeraron en ello, es cómodo con toques lujosos. Y los precios, a pesar de lo que podría parecer, son precios comunes, como los de cualquier franquicia americana de la ciudad así que no te dejes apantallar y mejor ve a conocer un lugar diferente.

The steak was mediocre at best I am not sure how on trip advisor this came to get so highly rated. The meat is not clean in the sense that it has a lot of fat and isn’t trimmed.
I asked for a cut of steak to have marveling and I think they took this to mean the one with the most gristle.
While going to the restroom I saw that they cook over a grill which looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since the Mayan temples were built. He coals were hit but there was no way to control the temperature. There were not temperature zones and all the meats and veggies mixed together. I asked to have my steak reheated. Not a complaint mind you I just eat slow and sometimes I need it thrown on the grill to reheat. They brought it back on a bread plate?!
I have been to Mortons, Lowry’s, Flemmings, Ruth Chris, and House of Prime Rib In San Francisco this is the McDonald’s of steakhouses. If your looking for «Prime» steak look elsewhere. 3 stars for service and dessert.
