Hotel Lucerna

Hands down best service to customer hotel. Very very clean and worth the already low price for the cabana stay. It’s a High end Vegas suite with great service from the staff. Thanks for the stay

A lovely hotel with a wonderful staff!
We were going camping in Baja on Christmas Day when we hit some car trouble. When we realized we needed to stay in Mexicali for the night, we found them (by reputation on Unilocal) and called to see if they had room. They did and we drove over, ended staying two nights.
The staff were all extremely helpful, especially Roman and Federico — they helped get us in touch with a trustworthy mechanic, made sure our vehicle was parked in front of the security cameras (our gear was in an open bed pickup truck), and were communicative and supportive. Everyone else we spoke with on staff was also extremely helpful and friendly.
The room was spacious and comfortable, the on-​site restaurant had hearty breakfast and superb steak for dinner. All in all, we were very well taken care of and could not have landed at a better place for our unexpected delay in Mexicali. If I ever get stuck in that town again, this is the first place I would head!

We stayed at this hotel this past weekend. We had an excellent experience. We ate at the hotel once for dinner and one for breakfast. Italian restaurant for dinner was excellent. Breakfast just OK.
The porter Francisco went above and beyond.
Only negative is that we had a room at the far northwest part of the hotel. It was near the road and was very loud at night.

Rooms are very nice and clean! Showers have rain shower heads which the kids loved! Roman went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. He was always available for anything we needed and always had a nice smile on his face. The pool was not heated but I’m sure it’s not needed during the scorching HOT Summer time. We are excited about returning this Summer and staying at one of the pool front bungalows which offer free evening happy hour! We just hope that Roman or workers like him are available to give us the same hospitality. Thank you Roman for making this a memorable vacation for our family!

Mexicali, Mexico-​Awesome hotel was recommended by some coworkers (telvista call center) very classy, nice rooms, restaurants and pool, service is top notch. Was able to book online, no problems„ for this type of place the price is a deal!

Been to Mexicali many times and this was the first time staying at a hotel.
Very impress with the service and so many amenities.
The restaurant’s food Italian, breakfast buffet and the piano bar were great.
Plenty of safe parking.

What a great hotel in the middle of Mexicali. It’s the kind of nice hotel where people have their wedding reception. There were a bride and groom getting their photos taken. The grounds consist of multiple buildings and take up a lot of area.
You’re going to get great service. It’s the kind of place where a bell hop in a white suit with a white mesh safari hat takes your bags, shows you around the property, and shows you to your room. It’s safe and there’s a parking lot attendant that makes sure no undesirables enter the hotel. The staff speak English well. They’re very friendly and helpful.
There’s free wifi everywhere on the property. The rooms are very nice and comfortable with some television channels in English. It’s the perfect place for laying by the pool and enjoying a beverage.

We stay here once a month. The staff is what makes this place 5 stars. They are super attentive and want to ensue guests are comfortable and happy. We always get one of the bungalows poolside — they are nice large spacious rooms. Great bedding, pillows, etc. Very comfortable. These rooms come with a nightly happy hour in a beautiful private lounge overlooking one of the pools. Free drinks, wine and beer. Last time we stayed the appetizers were basically a full dinner — jumbo shrimp, sliders, salad, etc. The stay in these rooms also include a breakfast in the same lounge — a good hot breakfast with fresh fruit, yogurt, fresh juices, etc. The restaurants are great, too. We have eaten at the Italian restaurant and at the buffet on a Sunday morning (mexican dishes more than you can possibly eat and so yummy!). 2 great pools with plenty of chaise lounges, tables and umbrellas. Poolside service is great and affordable. We’ve stayed at all the nice hotels in Mexicali and this is the best. Araiza down the street has nice rooms only on the 5^th and 6^th floors. The pool area has limited seating and no service. The staff is unfriendly. Spend $ 10 – 20 more and stay at lucerna… There is no comparison in Mexicali.

This place is amazing.
I loved it.
The food @ mezzasole was the best.
I will stay here again, there were 2 pools, gym with small sauna.
It’s just awesome I highly recommend.
Rooms are super clean and remodeled.
