We stopped here for a quick dinner because we were in the area, it was the first place we saw, and there was street parking available. The inside dining area is large and open. They have a simple menu with different seafood options. A lot of the items on the menu are fried but they also have the seafood cocktails and items made with the prepared seafood used in the cocktails. Soup is also an option. We had agua frescas to drink but they also serve beer. We ordered the shrimp empanada. It was an overstuffed empanada the size of a sandwich, with large shrimp, avocado, onions, and diced tomatoes. It was very good and cost 63 pesos. We also had the fried fish with shrimp, 59 pesos. It was also good and the shrimp were large. They have a good habanero bottled salsa that we enjoyed. I noticed this place fries a lot of the menu items in advance. This is similar to some taco places and makes for quick service. The flavor didn’t seem to be hurt by the advanced prep, but it might have been even better if it was fried to order. The food tasted good and was priced well. I will eat here again if I find myself nearby and in the mood for seafood.
